群馬県のとある街の外国感が半端ない!!|ドライブ|田舎暮らし|群馬県|4K
Good morning I was thinking of wandering around Gunma Prefecture today I’m heading towards Maebashi in Gunma Prefecture from now on First, I thought I would try going to a place called Oizumi Town in Gunma Prefecture This is a bit interesting, with a population of just over 40,000 I heard there are as many as 8,000 foreigners here So, 20% of the population is made up of foreigners Looking at it by country, Brazilians make up about 50% of that Peru, Vietnam, Nepal, and so on It seems there are many people of Asian descent lately Also Indonesia, the Philippines, China, and so on In such areas, Recently in Japan, Increase the number of foreigners a lot, or something like that Through technical internships and things like that To secure the workforce and so on I think there might be a little bit of that I think there are definitely more foreigners, and various problems are arising After all, the culture is different too The diet is different too In fact, in some religions, there are restrictions on eating regular meat, and it must be halal, among other things I think that areas that used to have only Japanese people will increasingly see more foreigners from now on This place called Oizumi Town Around 1990 to 2000 It’s already over 10% It’s about 20% of the population In schools, it’s already about 1 in 4 You look like a foreigner So I think it’s already at around 25% or something In this Oizumi town, there are places like Subaru nearby What used to be Sanyo Electric It has now become Panasonic, but there are quite a few factories like that, and in order to secure the workforce in those places There has been a movement to attract foreigners since around the late 1990s It seems that it has become easier for foreigners to live here Originally, there were indeed a lot of people from South America That’s exactly the case with Hamamatsu and Nagoya too It seems that the number of people from Asia has been increasing lately It’s just that people in Asia tend to change every 3 to 5 years rather than settling down It’s often due to technical internships People from Brazil and South America are already… Because they are of Japanese descent It seems like they have already settled down Because it’s that kind of area I thought it seemed a bit interesting But today is a holiday I can’t go see what the town hall is like After all, it’s a service aimed at foreigners It seems they also have brochures that include the language properly placed It seems there are also people who can speak Portuguese I can’t go see that today, though What kind of town is it? It’s probably the same in Tokai, but those kinds of regions have a lot of delicious restaurants Like Peruvian restaurants and such There are a lot of those kinds of places I was thinking of going to experience foreign cultures up close There are also supermarkets for foreigners, so it’s interesting There are many individual shops, so I think I’m going to wander around a bit, but isn’t it exciting? I didn’t know there were quite a few places like this near Maebashi I found out that the area with the highest foreigner ratio in Japan is Hokkaido, specifically Shimukappu? It’s where Tomamu is located One third seems to be foreigners Well, considering that the population of Shunkan itself is about 1,500 people Rather than saying there are a huge number of foreigners, it means that even with around 500 people, it would be about 30% The ratio is high, but It’s not that there are an overwhelming number of people But it’s a fortune-telling crown, you know But I can understand how you feel It’s not just that aspect; there are probably issues that we wouldn’t understand just by going flat It seems like there are a lot after all That’s a problem that can’t be understood just by going to the supermarket and eating delicious food I hope those who are interested will do some research on it We’re going to see what kind of atmosphere the town has It’s just that if you go a little closer from Nagano, you can experience a foreign atmosphere, so that’s why I’m going, haha Japan is going to be like this from now on It would be good to refer to this area, Oizumimachi, and try various things You can feel the problems that are likely to occur in Japanese municipalities in the future when you come here It’s not a particularly difficult theme Just Brazilian churrasco, huh? Is it ceviche from Peru? Something like mariscos or something like that I just want to eat that, lol After that, at a foreign supermarket Rare items and such I just want to make a fuss about things I bought during my travels, lol That’s all there is to it, haha Well, haven’t we just entered the town? In Oizumi Town It’s like a city, isn’t it? But the signs are still only in Japanese, aren’t they? First, I think I’ll go to a supermarket called Asōgetakara Is this a supermarket for foreigners? I wonder how places like Beisia are? I wonder if there are any corners like that? There might be in places like this You wouldn’t know if you just went normally It’s no different from any other ordinary town There seems to be quite a few foreigners Left side at 150m It feels like there are more words overflowing in the Tokai region It feels like South America They are selling some amazing sweet potatoes! I don’t understand Portuguese~ I can still understand some Spanish though It’s an all-you-can-eat churrasco after all This is Kiosuke Shiburajiru I think there’s a restaurant in here On weekends, all-you-can-eat is around 3000 yen, but it seems to be a bit cheaper on weekdays It really smells like South America Like Guatemala, you know? Is it Central America or Guatemala? Wow, this is so much fun! I’m really excited! It says SUPER MERCADO, doesn’t it? Brazilian Burger There were also Vietnamese ingredients They sell Vietnamese items too, huh? There is also the flag of Vietnam It seems like there might be one for the Philippines too It seems like they also sell ghee A lot of things that look like JELLO I bought it in Mexico, a lot of them I hardly used it, lol It’s churros All the staff are foreigners Awesome chorizo This is how you stew it, right? This is super fun, it’s crazy! Meat is incredibly cheap, you know 1kg for 1980 yen or so I just saw a lot of this being sold in a light truck—it’s cassava!! There really aren’t any Japanese products for sale, are there? I’ve never seen any of the pasta around here before I’ve never been to Brazil Wow, amazing!! Driver’s license What about drinks? They’re selling INCA KOLA, aren’t they? The detergent is also from overseas, isn’t it? That’s amazing!! They’re selling OMO, aren’t they? This is Vietnam, right? Snack corner There are a lot of things that look quite delicious for sale What is this? w Sour Strawberry It’s gummy Potato chips zone~~ I haven’t seen most of these before Amazing variety of beans Lentils and such are really great – they’re cheap! What is this? This is consommé Beef consomme, chicken consomme You’ve seen this before, right? There are many types here that you’ve never seen before I’ve never seen anything like this before! There are many types of seasonings What is this rice? It says ARROZ Is Ajinomoto doing it? I wonder if they’re seasoning the rice? This is the vinegar you often see abroad Super interesting! It’s a foreign country, isn’t it? All the staff are either of Japanese descent or Brazilian When I entered, I was greeted with ‘Bom dia’ All the shops over there are foreign Is this a store too? It seems there are also some Asian shops separately They’re quite small and personal What is this? It’s a cake shop! Japanese cakes aren’t satisfying enough, are they? That’s because they are less sweet Looks super delicious!! The price is quite reasonable too It’s well-seasoned Beef is cheap, isn’t it? Wow! What is this? Is it fruit gelato? I don’t quite understand I don’t write in Japanese, so All the ice cream is imported too That’s not what I meant It’s made in Japan VINA MILK The Tabasco corner is amazing! Wow, this one too!! It seems like Okinawa The top is all Brazilian products The bottom? Is this Portugal? The smell of the city feels foreign, doesn’t it? I guess it’s the detergent after all Casablanca It’s open 24 hours, they say What is this? South American food bakery, Brazilian restaurant Roast chicken Beef is cheap, isn’t it? As expected!! South and Central America eat a lot, you know The restaurant is open here from 12 o’clock That’s amazing! It’s 1900 yen on weekdays This kind of thing becomes all-you-can-eat I was able to buy it Inca Kola and I’ve had this one often, but this is my first time trying this Brazilian This is Peru, right? It’s delicious, you know It’s definitely Kuwana There are many importers there too Everyone is buying it Cassava It’s such a familiar ingredient, isn’t it? I wonder what they’ll make with that? Let’s go for lunch Delicias by Vera Goto, a Brazilian restaurant It’s just around here, but… All-you-can-eat by weight It seems there are various options Today, it’s sold by weight Typical Brazilian bean dish, feijão, and so on They were selling a lot of cassava, weren’t they? Ribs and cassava It’s cassava fries Dishes like chicken stew There is also salad This is 100g sold by weight for 298 yen It seems there is meat over there today You can have 100g of meat for 498 yen Looks delicious! The ichibo and lamp look delicious too! There’s a lot over here too Well then, I’ll take this one Could you take that one? This is what the menu looks like All-you-can-eat for 4,980 yen (Saturday and Sunday) There are also drinks available Well, today we have plenty of vegetables and beans and such And this is churrasco The pronunciation is a bit different Was it called shirasu-ko? It’s properly skewered and has holes in it 1972 yen 360g This is 1400 yen This is 1000 yen About 4500 yen in total I will enjoy this dish made with two types of simmered beans~ Delicious!! It has a gentle taste of beans Incredibly delicious The taste is different I’ll have a little from the cassava They were selling a lot, you know It’s delicious It resembles sweet potato Tastes better than this The salad looks delicious too! This is my favorite! Whoa!! This is amazing!! This salad is incredibly delicious! The salad might be excellent That’s bad! It’s delicious, right? And it’s surprisingly This is delicious I wonder what this is? I think it’s garlic, though I don’t understand, right? It’s a type of gourd, isn’t it? I’ll start with the sausage~ Delicious!! It’s incredibly meaty This is Ichibo You can find it being sold in quite a few places Ah, it’s delicious!! I’m curious about this lol Is it a bit too big? Wow, that looks delicious! Ah, delicious!! It’s mild and light It feels like there’s little fat This is something you can eat a huge amount of This one looks delicious too, right? What is this? It’s an internal organ, right? Isn’t this something like a pile? Ah, it’s the best! A large bell pepper Oh! Amazing! It’s stuffed meat It looks very delicious! I got everything out lol Delicious!! I received coffee from Brazil It has an amazing aroma! It’s rich! I wonder if the way to make it is different? It’s delicious!! It’s refreshing after eating a lot of meat and such This is quite refreshing, isn’t it? It was super delicious! I ate until I was full 4240 yen Wow, that was delicious! It had an amazing foreign taste This town, Oizumimachi, is incredibly fun! Just walking down this street reveals so many enjoyable places I was really surprised to see a supermarket abroad The city already has a foreign vibe to it I’m not really familiar with Brazil, you know I’ve never been there I’ve been to places around there like Peru, Bolivia, and Guatemala, but I haven’t been to Brazil You’ve been to Argentina too, right? I heard that cassava is in season right now It really has its peak season They said you can only eat this during this time of year That’s why everyone is rushing to buy it now They come selling a lot of it in light trucks I was wondering what it was because everyone was buying it I thought everyone liked cassava that much In Japan, that’s exactly like Shine Muscat, you know Matsutake mushrooms and such I don’t think it’s that luxurious Doesn’t it feel like a chestnut? It looked like a sweet potato, so that might be it It’s interesting, after all It feels like there are really a lot of foreign people with a sense of everyday life here Recently, even in Nagano, In places like Nobeyama, there are quite a few technical intern trainees working in agriculture When you go to supermarkets, there are a lot of Vietnamese people, but it’s not that kind of vibe It really feels like I’m going to be here forever That’s amazing! It’s not that expensive But this Inca Kola is 180 yen Japanese PET bottles are only different by 10 or 20 yen Remember the bean dish we had today? It seems that stewed bean dishes are always served at the table like Japanese miso soup, but I didn’t know they were sold like that! At the supermarket There was an amazing amount of beans being sold It’s expensive to buy lentils and such at stylish supermarkets in Japan, isn’t it? But after all, it’s what the locals usually eat Was the acai affordable enough to buy without being too expensive? They were selling a lot of acai, right? This kind of town is next to Nagano Well, it’s pretty close If you go south from Nagano, there’s Karuizawa and such I didn’t know there was a town like this Sounds good! Now, let’s head to the next destination Next is a little north of Maebashi Gasoline is already super expensive when I return to Nagano Diesel too I will add it It’s cheap, around 131 yen in Maebashi It’s the Tone River, after all Where am I now? Is this Isesaki? Wow!!!! 129 yen! It’s Maebashi, isn’t it? There are quite a few rivers flowing around There are many parks like this It looks quite livable This area has a large park as well I haven’t really been to Maebashi before I wonder what it was like before? Maybe a hotel? It’s the Gunma Prefectural Office We’ve gotten quite close to Nagano I can already see it over there; it’s a new store called Tsuruya Kanra It seems that a large Tsuruya has opened, so I will go check it out But while I was wandering around the shops in Maebashi, it completely turned into night Even though it’s night, it’s still only 7 o’clock I just went straight there and it was around 5 o’clock when I arrived I thought it might be a bit crowded and difficult at that time I shifted it a bit around 7 o’clock What do you think? The parking lot seems like it will be crowded It looks really huge! Is it just Tsuruya? Isn’t something different in there? There’s definitely something in there, right? I wonder if this Tsuruya has a lot of products from Nagano Prefecture? I wonder what it’s like I saw somewhere that it’s 2.5 times the size of Karuizawa, but is it really that big? Well, let’s give it a try It’s super huge! Amazing!! Well then, it’s time for dinner Awesome There is a Beisia and a Cainz here There’s also Seria That was a Daiso over there This place is amazing! Around Tomioka Because it’s along the bypass Is the left side the Tomioka Silk Mill? A place called Curly Gourmet Restaurant Tomioka Is it a store that has various locations? 200 meters ahead This is a Nepalese restaurant From noon today, I’m completely bound to foreign food, haha! There are so many delicious-looking options!! This is usually the case here When it comes to Nepalese cuisine, things like naan and curry come to mind And there’s also butter chicken curry, right? There are also sets like this, and they are incredibly cheap Tandoori set for 1250 yen or something I don’t really understand, but it even comes with rice Well, you know… There are quite a few Nepalese dishes here There’s a famous dumpling called momo Speaking of Nepal, Steam Peach 600 yen and Peanut Sadeco 690 yen Chicken Chow Mein 690 yen It’s like udon, isn’t it? The chicken thukpa is 690 yen, and while the mix is good, I might not like it if it has some lamb in it, so I went with all chicken Isn’t it interesting? There’s so much of it It’s rare to find a place like this, isn’t it? I hear there is an all-you-can-drink plan too For 1490 yen It seems there is soup as a service today I can drink the soup Let’s eat! Ah~ it’s delicious~ I wonder what it is? Not corn Isn’t it mysterious? It’s quite salty, you know What kind of soup is this? It’s delicious! It has a bit of a grainy taste, you know I’ve arrived~ This is supposed to be mushroom soup Finally, the mushroom appeared There are a lot of mushrooms And this has come, you know The amount of peanuts is amazing!! lol If you buy peanuts normally, you might not be able to get them for 690 yen lol Delicious! Oh, it’s spicy!! Really, really spicy! It’s incredibly delicious! It’s incredibly delicious but also incredibly spicy There’s cucumber hidden in this, so be careful Is the cucumber a chili pepper? Oh~ lol You have to look closely, lol Ah! That hurt… I bit into a chili pepper Super spicy Yes, here’s some water, lol People who drink beer must be in heaven Chicken Chow Mein I think this is probably sweet Is this ketchup? Or maybe it’s chili? I wonder what it is? Ketchup Let’s eat Ah, it’s delicious!! It’s delicious but painful… It looks like yakisoba The taste is completely different Delicious!! It has the flavor of curry Is it the smell of turmeric? It’s a lot… lol First, let’s taste the soup Is it spicy? It’s not painful, is it? Curry type? But it’s a little spicy It looks like soup curry or something But it’s a little different This chicken on top is incredibly delicious I wonder if it’s been fried once? Delicious! I wonder if it’s fried? Also, Mom will be coming soon Momo has arrived I wonder what this is in the middle Is this sauce spicy? Isn’t that a bit too much? It feels like miso Something smells in the back Something like turmeric I’ve never eaten turmeric, but it’s something like medicinal cuisine I came later, lol I arrived just in time to swallow it I wonder what’s going on inside? Let’s eat! This is 600 yen, so it’s cheap, right? Delicious!! I ate it for the first time It’s like a soup dumpling, but not Chinese Momo is the same The culture of gyoza is quite prevalent in Asia, isn’t it? Because it has a strong flavor from the spices It’s completely different again It was super delicious!! My stomach is full This is good How much was it? 2600 yen That’s amazing!! I thought it would be around 3000 yen, but it’s 2600 yen That’s incredible!! I ate four dishes? I’m way too full The noodles weren’t a normal portion either, right? No matter how much I eat, it doesn’t decrease But somehow, it’s addictive and I just can’t stop That kind of thing looks a bit salty from the appearance, doesn’t it? It’s not salty at all It’s mild in flavor and seems bland, but once you start eating, you can’t stop Those peanuts were incredibly spicy, though It definitely feels like a perfect snack Momo is incredibly juicy, like a juicy shish kebab Wow, that was delicious! It seems like today, I really enjoyed the results from Brazil and Nepal I wasn’t specifically thinking of eating foreign cuisine like this at night, but it was delicious It’s Orihiro Aren’t we getting close to Nakanojō?
