Miyajima is the best destination in Japan

Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat up here. [Music] Hello world. Welcome to Hidden Paradise in Japan. I’m Mits. I’m on the ferry boat bound for Miaima near Hiroshima. It’s one of the most popular destinations for the first time visitors to Japan. Now I can see Miaima Island and the giant tori gate. I arrived at Miaima port. So many tourists. Some tourists are hanging out with the deer. Adorable, aren’t they? On the way to Kushimas, there are lot of restaurants, shops for street foods and souvenir shops. and sometimes deer. So many tourists. Grilled oysters look delicious. So I’ll try some. Smells delicious. about $10 for four pieces. Affordable. It’s good with wasabi. You should try A dear surprise is a girl. You can see stone lanterns in any shrines or temples in Japan. I can see the giant tree gate. Take a picture with a deer. People usually take a photo with the giant tori gate in the background. I got to the it’s Kushima shrine. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] People are waiting to eat grilled oyster. Next, let’s go to Daisoin Temple. [Music] I found a nice and cozy [Music] park. There are really a lot of deer on this island. [Music] Visitors are requested not to feed the deer. That’s the difference from the ancient capital of Nara. Miaima is not very large. If people feed them, a lot of deer get from all over the island to the main [Music] spot. Oh, what a cute [Music] I think Dao in temple is this way. There’s a cafe up there. They serve matcha too. This is the entrance of Daoin Temple. [Music] Hello. Okay. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh my god. [Music] All these Jesus statues wear red caps, some orange ones and white [Music] ones. There’s a nice Japanese style house. Actually, not a house. You know what it is? It’s a cafe. Let’s go inside. It has a beautiful Japanese garden. Beautiful. I’ll have iced tea and milk crepe. [Music] [Music] together. [Music] No, let me go. [Music] It’s getting dark now. Let’s go back to the ferry boat. Pickle the vegetable shop here. Matcha ice cream. Oh, I should eat a mumi. It’s a popular pastry in Miaima. Crispy outside, creamy inside. It’s so good. [Music] What a beautiful sunset. [Music] How do you like Miaima? But that was not all. You should stay on this island about six or eight hours to explore other spots such as Mumijani Park and the sacred mountain called Mount Misen. You can get to the top of Mount Misen by ropeway or cable car. You know, Japan has so many secret places or places you cannot miss. I’ll show you other places in the following videos. Goodbye for now. [Music]

  1. I agree, Miyajima is my most favorite place in Japan as well. I have been there 3 times so far, but I will visit again for sure.
Until then, thank you for this great video – very nice to see again… ^^
    Best regards,
    Thomas

  2. It is a great place but why is it the "best destination in Japan"? You never really said why and to have that opinion, you would have to visit every other place in the country. Nice video!
