【フェリー旅】これが客室⋯⁉ マルエーフェリー「フェリー あけぼの」 鹿児島→奄美大島 島めぐりの船旅【旅行】

Yes, hello, TOMONI This is JAPAN.This channel focuses on boat trips and brings you the charm of trips around Japan that are a bit unusual.Currently , I’m visiting Kagoshima Chuo Station in Kagoshima Prefecture , so this time I ‘ll be showing you the boat trip from Kagoshima to Amami Oshima.Actually , this boat trip will consist of three stages. So, the first part of this video is from Kagoshima to Amami Oshima, the second part is from Amami Oshima to Yoron Island, and finally, from Yoron Island to Okinawa/Naha.I have been interested in a boat trip that goes around the islands for a long time, but this time my dream came true and I finally decided to do it. Even though I was able to make a video , if it was just a video about touring the islands every week , the viewers might get bored of it, so I’m thinking of interjecting videos of the Sunflower ferry and other things in between. So , let’s head to Kagoshima New Port, where the boat to Amami Oshima is.It seems there is also a bus from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Kagoshima Port . The current time is 2:45 p.m., and the departure time from Kagoshima Port is 6 p.m., so I thought I’d take advantage of the opportunity to walk there.Actually , this day was the day that the movie Detective Conan, a nationally popular anime, was released, and I arrived at Kagoshima Chuo Station a little early, so I took advantage of the opportunity to see it on the day it was released. In conclusion, it was very interesting. I think this movie was advertised with Kogoro Mouri as the main character, but he was really cool and kept me excited. Detective Conan was also very interesting, but this year is also the year that the Demon Slayer movie will be released, so I’m really looking forward to that as well.I’m thinking that I may have talked a little too much about the movie. Now, let’s head towards Kagoshima New Port.It takes about 40 to 50 minutes on foot from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Kagoshima New Port.If you have a lot of luggage, it might be a little difficult to walk, but I think it’s quite a distance to walk if your luggage weighs as much as I do.By the way, the size of the luggage I’m carrying this time is: One rucksack can hold 40 liters. How much does it weigh? It’s probably around 8kg. Of course, it weighs around 8kg. I also have a backpack, but when I’m traveling alone, I find it more convenient to use a backpack because it’s more flexible. After about 40 minutes of walking, the container gradually came into view.Is that Sakurajima in the background? It’s very impressive.Once you get to this point, you’ll be right in front of the ferry terminal, so let’s do our best to walk in the last spurt.By the way, as for the containers lined up, there were a lot of them from Maru-A Philly, which we’ll be boarding today . So, we arrived at the Kagoshima Port Ferry Terminal. It took about 45 minutes to arrive after leaving Kagoshima Chuo Station.Maybe because there is a warehouse right next to it, containers are lined up in rows and rows.As for the surroundings, there is at least one pachinko parlor at the terminal. Before going inside, I decided to take the opportunity to take a look at the Ferry Akebono, which I will be boarding today. This is the Ferry Akebono, which I will be boarding today.Actually, I wanted to go closer to the ferry, but there was a sign saying that no one except those involved was allowed to enter. , I’ll stop here. I just got to see a cargo container being loaded onto a ship, so I hope you all enjoy it.In everyday life, I don’t think you often get to experience the flow of cargo like this, but let’s take a look at it this way. Now, you can really feel that our lives are made possible thanks to these people who work for us.So let’s head towards the Kagoshima Shinko Ferry Terminal. This Kagoshima Shinko Ferry Terminal is a three-story building. The waiting area is on the third floor. The first floor is where the management office is located, so we decided to head towards the second floor. We arrived at the second floor. You can go outside from the second floor, and you can see the ships at anchor. So, let’s head over there right away. This is the Marue Ferry Akebono ferry that we will be boarding today. The total tonnage is 8,083 tons, the total length is 145 meters, and the number of passengers is a whopping 678.The total length is about 200 meters. Considering that Murasaki has a passenger capacity of 716 people, you can see that it is a ship that can carry a very large number of people.By the way, there was a ship called “Queen Coral Cross” of Marix Line moored next to it . We will be delivering another video about our cruise in Los Angeles , so let’s go back inside the terminal and head towards the 3rd floor . We arrived at the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor is also a waiting room, so it’s a very spacious space. It’s about 2 o’clock until departure time. There was only a little time left, but I felt that more people than I expected were already waiting to board the ship in the waiting room. There are shops in the waiting room, but apparently only two are open at this time. Before boarding the ship, you can fill out a boarding application form at this counter. This application form must be filled out by everyone boarding the ship, so I will also fill it out and submit it to the counter here. The check-in was completed successfully, and I received this boarding ticket . The boarding ticket is of course required when boarding the ship, but you will also need it when disembarking, so be sure to manage and store it so you don’t lose it. Time passed quickly, and it was time to board the ship. There were even more people in the waiting room than before, and the atmosphere became very lively. So , I went out of the terminal and headed towards the boarding gate. When I looked at the ferry Akebono, it seemed that the containers had already been loaded. The time when you are walking towards this ferry is a very exciting time. Please check your ticket at the boarding gate. After checking your ticket, we will cross the connecting bridge and head inside the ship . We boarded the Ferry Akebono. Once inside , the ship was launched in 2008, so it was a little retro. The entrance hall with a rustic atmosphere welcomes us, so let’s head towards the guest room that we will be using today. The guest room is located towards the bow side of the entrance hall. This is the “Second Class Japanese Room” that we will be using on this cruise. Let’s go inside the room.As soon as we enter the room, we see a number of futons spread all over the floor. There are so many futons spread out that you can barely see the floor. You are not allowed to wear shoes, so let’s take off our shoes and head towards the space we will be using this time. This is the space called “33” that we will be using on this cruise. The usual room introduction on this channel! I would like to go there, but only a square cushion and a blanket are available.By the way, luggage is placed on top of each person’s space like this. There is also an outlet. There isn’t one for each person, so I think some people may need to be careful.I’ve been on many cruises in the past, so I ‘ve experienced a number of cruises where you don’t have a private room, and you don’t have a private room. This is the first time I’ve had the experience of sleeping with small fish. The current season is spring, but if this is the peak season of summer, there will probably be many more people. In my case, I also took photos like this, so I’m glad I chose spring instead of summer. That’s what I personally feel , so I went back to the entrance hall.Since boarding has just begun, I think you can see that the ship is very crowded. There is a list of routes posted in the entrance hall. The nice thing about this is that you can see at a glance what port the ferry will arrive at.The passenger area of the Akebono ferry is from the 4th floor to the 6th floor, and the main facilities such as the information desk, onboard shops, and restaurants are all located on the 4th floor. The information center has already started operating, but the ship’s shops and restaurants are still open, as they are not yet open for business. Now , let’s go up the central staircase and head towards the 5th floor. The 5th floor is a large public space. This allows many people to enjoy a relaxing cruise. Also , in addition to the second-class Japanese-style rooms like the one I’m on this time, the cabins on the 5th floor also have regular private rooms and special rooms.I’d love to ride in one of these special rooms someday. Unfortunately , I was unable to take the Akebono ferry because it was difficult for me to do so due to my budget.Unfortunately , there is no public bath , but there is a shower room instead. You can use this shower room from the time you leave the port until one hour before your arrival in Naha. Of course, there are shower rooms for men and women, so don’t worry. We have finished introducing the facilities and facilities of this ferry Akebono Arakata. Let’s go out to the observation deck from the entrance hall on the 5th floor. Climb the stairs from the 5th floor and go up to the 6th floor, and you’ll see the funnel of the Marue Ferry in front of you . The current time is 5:45 in the evening, but it’s neither hot nor cold, and you can feel the temperature being very nice. Japan is said to be a country with four wonderful seasons, but recently everyone has felt that the seasons of spring and autumn are getting shorter and shorter. Especially around the latter half of March this year, when the weather suddenly got warmer and I thought spring had arrived , it turned cold again and I had to put on my outerwear. There was a cherry tree near my house, and the cherry blossoms were blooming and falling over and over again in a rather cute way.So I was enjoying the scenery on the observation deck, but before I knew it, it was 6 o’clock, departure time. When I suddenly looked down, I could see that the gangway for the vehicle had just been stored. After the gangway was fully stored, the rope was being reeled in. After the rope was reeled in, I could feel the low sound of the engine and light vibrations. We were leaving Kagoshima New Port. This moment of departure is always exciting . When I looked towards the terminal, I saw an employee waving at us. I’m very happy to have been given such consideration. Now then, please enjoy watching the departure from Kagoshima New Port.Seeing the land of Kagoshima gradually moving away from me makes me feel sad, but I think I can also feel more excited. As the departure time was in the evening, I was able to watch the sunset beautifully. The water surface with the setting sun reflecting on it was also very beautiful.By the way, I often make fast-forward videos of departures and arrivals, but what do you think?I think I would like to make videos of all the departures and arrivals if possible, but if I make them into videos as they are, it will take a long time. It drags out a lot, so it doesn’t really make a good video… However , the screen moves too quickly, so I’m a little worried that some people might get screen sickness. We want our children to have fun, and we are doing trial and error every day, so please let us know your impressions and opinions in the comments. We returned to the ship.As we had just left port, the ship was still very busy. I think so.When I returned to the 4th floor, I saw that the shop was open, so let’s go inside. The shop sells not only sweets, cup noodles, and ice cream, but also daily necessities that you might want on occasion, as well as original Marue Ferry goods. In addition, they also sell sweets, alcohol, and other drinks packaged with the hero of Satsuma, Saigo Takamori , so I was able to purchase the Mifune Seal, which is one of the items I always purchase when I get on a ship. The Mifune Seal of the ferry Akebono is colored It is bright and very colorful.Perhaps due to the reaction, it is quite thin compared to the Mifune seals of other ships, so please store it carefully in a clear case so that it does not get bent. Now that you have successfully purchased the Mifune seal, we are now open for business. Let’s head to the restaurant. The restaurant’s business hours are a little short , ending at 6:40, so be careful.Once you enter the restaurant, you’ll see that it’s rather crowded. Please note that you can’t use meal ticket style 10,000 yen bills and 5,000 yen bills. I was a little hesitant, but this time I ordered Kalbi-don.I handed my ticket to the staff and waited for a while. Of course, they also provided condiments, cutlery such as paper napkins, and free drinking water, so don’t worry, I was told that after about 2-3 minutes, I was able to receive the food safely. As a man, I must eat meat! By the way, the disposable chopsticks for this kalbi bowl are specially made by Marue Ferry. Now then, let’s eat it.Thank you for the meal.It was very delicious. However , I felt that the portion was a bit unsatisfactory.Well , I’m a big eater, so maybe it’s just that I feel that way. By the way, you need to return the tableware after eating to this tableware return slot.I was embarrassed to say that after leaving the restaurant, I realized that there was actually a vending machine inside the restaurant, and I bought some carbonated water there.I thought I’d like to relax while looking out at the sea, and luckily I found one seat. I found an empty seat, so I thought I’d relax here. The atmosphere on the ship was still lively , so I thought I’d like to enjoy the sweets and carbonated water that were in my bag. This may sound like I’m shoplifting, but I’m sure I’ll buy it at the shop. By the way, the most important part is the guest room, but fortunately there didn’t seem to be many people.Time passed quickly and it was 9:00 pm.We apologize to all the viewers who thought, “Hey, TOMONI, too much time has passed!” As I said when I introduced the room earlier, There isn’t an outlet for each person… so my camera ran out of charge, and I ‘ve just finished charging it.I think it’s getting a little quiet at this time of day, but there are still many people awake and enjoying the cruise.By the way, the information center and shops are already closed.Entering Naze Port on Amami Oshima The scheduled time for the cruise was 4:40 a.m. , so I felt like it would be a waste to go to bed so early , but I couldn’t afford to oversleep, so I headed back to my room early. By the way, the lights in the room were already off, and I could hear a little bit of breathing and snoring here and there, as well as other environmental sounds. Well, we have no choice but to take care of that part, so please make sure to prepare earplugs, eye masks, etc. Thank you for your hard work today. Good night . Yes, good morning. I managed to wake up without oversleeping , but in reality, I was just about to overslept, and I woke up at the announcement on the ship. I would have been a little scared if there had n’t been an announcement on board …(lol) This ferry Akebono will continue its voyage toward Naha even after arriving at Amami Oshima, where I will disembark, but it seems that many of the passengers around me are disembarking at Amami Oshima . I came to the entrance hall with my luggage in preparation for disembarking. Many people were already waiting in the entrance hall for their time to disembark.I could have just stayed in the entrance hall and waited for my time to disembark, but I still had a little time, so I took advantage of the opportunity. I would like to go out to the observation deck. It was still around 4 o’clock, so the sun had not yet risen and the sky was still dark . This is what Naze Port on Amami Oshima looks like. A large light in the middle illuminates the entire Naze Port. When I looked down, I saw that it was just… We were connecting the bridge from Naze Port to this ferry Akebono. It was almost time to disembark, so we decided to go back inside the ship and wait for the time to disembark. The time we were on the boat from Kagoshima to Amami Oshima was about 11 hours. However, the 11 hours went by in the blink of an eye.As I always feel on any cruise, the time I spend waiting to disembark is a moment when I feel a sense of loneliness.Especially on this cruise, there was no public bath, so showers were provided instead. I think it was a little difficult because there wasn’t one power outlet for each person , but in the end, it turned out to be a good memory. The disembarkation process began, so I lined up in line to disembark. I think I’ll go.I handed my boarding ticket, which I had kept safe so I wouldn’t lose it, to the staff member and went down the escalator.Continuing on, I crossed the connecting bridge where I had been working on the connection earlier, and walked toward the Naze Port Ferry Terminal. As we were walking, we looked back and saw the ferry Akebono that brought us here.So we continued walking in the dark, crossing the bridge and heading towards the Naze Port Ferry Terminal. From the Ferry Akebono, we arrived at the Naze Port Ferry Terminal , about a 50 to 100 meter walk.Let’s go inside the ferry terminal. The pace is spreading in front of me. I was a little concerned about this notice of “strengthening prevention of poaching and grave theft.” I would be a little embarrassed if I had just missed it during my normal travels , but I don’t think it’s something I see much in Honshu . What do you think? Well , while I was thinking about that, I arrived at the exit of the ferry terminal. Let’s walk to Amami Port Tower Hotel, the hotel we are planning to visit. It ‘s a 4-minute walk from here, so I think we’ll be able to get there quickly.Despite it being early in the morning, I thought there would be quite a few cars running. These cars are probably the ones that got off the Akebono ferry…(lol) I don’t own a car, so it’s a bit difficult right now, but if I were able to buy my dream car someday, I would travel around Japan by boat with my car! I think it would be interesting to say something like that.At the moment, I have no plans to buy a car anytime soon, so it will be difficult to make it happen in the near future, but if I do buy a car, I am thinking of making a video of it, so I would be very happy if you could wait patiently for that time . We have arrived at the hotel we will be staying at today, Amami Port Tower Hotel.I don’t think there are many hotels that allow you to check in so early in the morning , but at this Amami Port Tower Hotel, you can check in early in time for the ferry’s arrival time …! For early check-in, You will need to call the hotel the day before to confirm, so if you are thinking about staying at this hotel, please be aware of this.By the way, although it is only for men, we also have a service that allows people who are not staying at the hotel to enter the public bath from 6:30 in the morning. With that said , we have completed our early check-in, so I’m going to head to my room.Originally , I would have ended the video here, but since we’ve come all the way to Amami Oshima , I’d appreciate it if you could stay with us for a little while longer. So , this is the room we will be staying in this time.Well , it’s like a typical business hotel.I hope I can get enough rest.As I woke up early, I still want to sleep, so I’m going to get some sleep.Good night.Yes , good morning.I guess you’re a little tired. Time passed by so quickly, and before I knew it, it was already noon… (lol) The place I’m currently in is called “Nase Port Ohashi Bridge,” and it’s about a 12-13 minute walk from Amami Port Tower Hotel.Anyway , as expected of Amami Oshima, it’s a very beautiful view.Preliminary Forecast I was a little worried about the weather , as it was cloudy and then rainy, but thankfully the weather turned out to be a little bit blue.As for me, I didn’t have any particular plans, so I went to Amami University. I’m thinking of taking a walk around the island. By the way, this channel mainly provides videos of boat trips, but I was wondering if you could make a video of the before and after of the boat trip, like this time… As for the viewers, I think most of them come to watch the cruise, so I don’t think it’s really necessary, but if you have any opinions that you would like or don’t need a video of the before and after parts of the cruise, I would be very happy if you could let me know in the comments…! So, I was strolling around, and apparently I ended up in front of an Aeon. I decided to take the opportunity to go inside. Well , it’s a familiar Aeon (lol). It may be a little unusual, but when I travel privately, when I have some free time at a destination, I visit the Aeon I’m traveling to and wonder how it’s different from the Aeon where I live. As you all know, Aeon is a super large chain of supermarkets located all over the country, so most of the things don’t change much, but the side dishes can be a little different depending on the region, so it’s surprisingly interesting . Out of all the things I found at Aeon, this is the beer I wanted the most. This black label beer is called Master’s Dream , which is sold by Suntory.I try not to drink too much while filming videos, but I usually drink quite a bit.I was a little hesitant, but since it was still lunchtime, I bought some carbonated water. When I went out from Aeon, As predicted, it was raining.I didn’t have an umbrella with me at the time, so I thought it was a bit of a waste, but I decided to take a taxi back to the hotel. That’s all for this video. On this channel, I post travel videos, mainly boat trips, every Friday, so I would be very happy if you could subscribe to the channel, give me a high rating, or leave a comment! See you in the next video. Thank you for watching until the end.
