【神社仏閣ひとり旅】埼玉県を切り絵御朱印巡り[御朱印500名印(No.454~457)]

This is Masaharu Goshuin Travel. This time we will start from Konosu Station on the JR Takasaki Line. Exit the east exit of Konosu Station, walk east along the road in front of the station, and turn left at the Konosu Station entrance signal. If you walk a little towards Kumagaya on the old Nakasendo road, you will see Koji Shrine on your right. Kono Shrine 1st place 8:20 am A shrine where the “Legend of the Stork”, which is the origin of the place name “Konosu”, remains. It began during the Meiji period when Hikawa-sha, Kumano-sha, and Raiden-sha were combined to be enshrined. At that time, it was called “Ko Sansha,” but it was later changed to “Ko Shrine.” On the approach to the shrine, the auspicious origins of the three shrines were written. The shrine building is at the end of the approach road. When I went to the front of the shrine, I saw a pair of “komakonotori” dedicated to it. There is also a sacred egg in the bird cage on the left. On the left side of the worship hall is the “Old Kono no Miya”. This is a company where the legend of the stork is passed down. On both sides in front of the shrine, there are “husband and wife ginkgo”. Male and female trees over 500 years old. “Sachinomiya Bentensha”. Blessings for bringing good luck, improving various arts, and improving feminine power. “Sanku Inari Shrine”. It is said to have the benefit of forging good relationships and severing bad ones. Next, I took a walk around the grounds from the right side of the shrine to the back. At the back of the worship hall is the “main shrine” where the god is actually enshrined. There were several shrines lined up in the back of the main shrine. The big shrine is the “Goshuden”. Seven companies are enshrined together. To the left of the Goshuden is Sengensha. There was no shrine, just a stone monument. After going around the shrine, I walked around the shrine grounds to the left. “Nanjamonja Inari” and “Nanjamonja Tree.” White flowers bloom from late April to mid-May every year. A stork is depicted in the Kagura Hall. This is “Koshin Tower”. In the back is Shuku Shrine, the god that protects Konosu-shuku. Next to it is the God of Small Pox. He is the god of healing and health of mind and body. And this is the “Kiri-e Goshuin (Happy New Year) Reiwa 7” that I received on the day. I couldn’t check the latest information online, but there is always a wide variety of products. Next, leave Kono Shrine and head to Saitama Good Fortune Daishi. Now, return to Konosu Station along the same path you came earlier. Board the train bound for Kumagaya/Takasaki. Rapid or special rapid is OK. During the day on weekdays, there are 5 trains per hour. Once you get off at Kumagaya Station, transfer to the Chichibu Railway. Chichibu Railway takes trains bound for Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Mitsumineguchi. During the day on weekdays, there are 1 or 2 trains per hour. Get off at Akedo Station. From here, walk to “Saitama Yakuyoke Kaiun Daishi”. After leaving the station, cross the railroad crossing and head towards the temple while looking at the map on your phone. Walk along the peaceful road towards the National Route 140 bypass. A bypass is now in sight. “Saitama Yakuyoke Kaiun Daishi” is located along the bypass. Saitama Good Fortune Daishi 2nd location 10:50 am It is counted as one of the “Japan’s three major good luck warding Daishi”. At the entrance to the temple grounds is the Niomon Gate. When you pass through the Niomon gate and proceed forward, you will see the “Chozuya” on your right. I thought it was, but it was decorated with flowers like a hand wash. The order of visiting the temple grounds was introduced, so I decided to go around in that order. First, go to the “Daishido” (main hall) at the back right of the precincts. The Daishi-do (main hall) enshrines the principal images of “Konjiki Daishi to ward off misfortune” and “Konjiki Daishi to bring good fortune.” There is a statue of Kobo Daishi in front of the main hall. He is the founder of the Shingon sect. Next, go to Kannondo, which is located at the top of the stone steps. At Kannon-do Hall, there is the Enman Senju Kannon, which is said to be a symbol of marital harmony and matchmaking. “Boke-proof Kannon” that prevents blur and helps you live a long and healthy life. The Venerable Bintou Luo, who heals illness and prevents cancer, is enshrined here. I would also like to take a look at the left side of Kannon-do Hall. The small shrine on the stone steps here is thought to be Inari. The “purification bell” is said to have the effect of purifying the worldly desires within oneself. There will be an explanation of how to ring the bell, so please follow the instructions. By praying carefully to the “Rokufuku Jizo”, your happiness will increase six times! The last stop on the pilgrimage is the Heisei Anzen Kannon. You can expect benefits such as family safety, physical safety, and traffic safety. Summer has been hot lately, so having a rest area with a roof is nice! Near the exit of the precincts is the “Omokaru stone”. You can try fortune-telling to see if your wish will come true. What I received on the day was the “Winter limited paper-cut goshuin snow news”. Be sure to check the temple’s official website for the latest goshuin information! Next, after visiting Saitama Yakuyoke Kaiun Daishi, we headed to Saizenji Temple. Walk back to Akedo Station the same way you came. From Akedo Station, take the train bound for Chichibu/Mimineguchi. There are 1 or 2 trains per hour during the day on weekdays, so be careful of the train times. After getting off at Ohanabatake Station, walk towards Seibu Chichibu Station. Lunch at the food court in the Seibu Chichibu Ekimae Onsen “Matsuri no Yu”! This time, we had lunch at Chichibu Warajikatsu-tei located inside Matsuri-no-Yu. I ordered “Chichibu’s specialty Waraji Katsudon”. I tried putting two on it. It’s still full of volume. It’s great that you can easily eat local specialties right next to the station! After filling my stomach, I resumed my tour of goshuin stamps. From Seibu Chichibu Station, take the local train bound for Hanno. During the day on weekdays, there are about two trains per hour. Get off at the next station, Yokose Station. About 2.2km from here. Walk to “Saizenji”. The course is quite complex, so be sure to check the map on your phone while walking so you don’t get lost! Surprisingly, there are many factories around here. Along the way, there is a shortcut sign. Temple number 8 is “Saizenji”. Cross the Ikugawa River and continue on. The Sanmon gate of “Saizenji” came into view. We have arrived. Saizenji 3rd location 2:45 pm Its origins date back to the early Kamakura period (around 1200). After bowing in front of the Sanmon gate and proceeding, the main hall will be right in front of you. The principal image is the Eleven-faced Kannon. Although it is not open to the public, it is opened to the public once every 12 years. In front of the main hall is a “Komine maple”. Approximately 600 years old. I’m looking forward to seeing the autumn leaves. And this is the “winter limited edition Komine maple” that we received on the day. The latest goshuin information is announced on the official website of the Yokose Town Tourism Association. After leaving Saizenji, we will continue on to Daijiji. Instead of returning to Yokose Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line, we headed to the bus stop, which was about a 10-minute walk away. While looking at the map on my phone, I walked north, passed under the Seibu railroad tracks, and headed for National Route 299. I arrived at the Negoya bus stop along the national highway, taking care as there was a lot of traffic. From here, board the bus bound for Seibu Chichibu Station. On weekdays, there are only 7 trains per day, so be careful of the time. After getting off at the Sakahi bus stop, go back in the direction the bus came from, turn left at the Sakahi traffic light, and walk north. Next, turn diagonally to the left of the push-button traffic light, and after walking a little, you will see the temple gate on your left. Daijiji Temple 4th 3:35 pm Daijiji Temple was founded in 1490. At the bottom of the stairs, on the left, was a shrine dedicated to Koshin-son. The principal image is “Sho Kanzeon Bodhisattva”. It also enshrines the Bodhisattva Koyasho Kanzeon, and prays for child-rearing and safe childbirth as “Kokodatekannon”. If you run the “Mani Car” once, you will receive the same merit as reading a volume of sutra! And this is the “cut-out goshuin (white snake design)” that I received on the day. For information on goshuin stamps, please check the Yokose Town Tourism Association website. We also received a plastic bottle holder. Thank you. This goshuin tour ends at Daijiji Temple. Depending on the time, you can get to Seibu Chichibu Station from a nearby bus stop, but since the time wasn’t right, I decided to walk. I returned to Chichibu City from Yokose Town. I took the opportunity to head to a cafe that I often stop by when I come to Chichibu. However, it was a regular holiday… Too bad. Since I had no choice, I decided to go straight back to Seibu Chichibu Station. I bought some souvenirs for my family at a yokan shop just before Seibu Chichibu Station. This is the Chichibu store of Yokanya, whose main store is in Ogano-cho. Created in 1803. “Honren” made with white bean paste, “Inaka” made with red bean, and “Yuzu.” Small and edible size. This is a dish I always buy when I go to Chichibu. I safely bought souvenirs for my family and headed to Seibu Chichibu Station. And the number of steps that day was 28,212. I walked more than usual! I thought I would take the limited express train slowly, but the time didn’t suit me and I ended up returning at each station.
