The Side of BANGLADESH no one SHOWS YOU ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ

I travel north in Bangladesh travelling to Sylhet and Sreemangal to explore less visited parts of Bangladesh. I want to see what real life is like outside the mega city of Dhaka. I take a night train north and begin a real eye opening experience meeting lots of great people along the way.

  1. Joel, the tea workers (Pickers) also gets free housing and subsidized rations from tea gardens, besides 200 Taka (daily).
And, another information you should know, that over 200,000 people from Sylhet lives in UK, so, no wonder, they are wearing Branded Jackets.

  2. 1. Coxโ€™s Bazar โ€“ The worldโ€™s longest natural sea beach.

    2. Saint Martinโ€™s Island โ€“ A beautiful coral island in the Bay of Bengal.

    3. Sundarbans โ€“ The largest mangrove forest and home to the Royal Bengal Tiger.

    4. Srimangal โ€“ Known as the "Tea Capital" of Bangladesh, famous for its green tea gardens.

    5. Sajek Valley โ€“ A breathtaking hill station with stunning sunrise and sunset views.

    6. Bandarban โ€“ Famous for its hills, waterfalls, and tribal culture.

    7. Rangamati โ€“ Known for Kaptai Lake and beautiful landscapes.

    8. Paharpur โ€“ Home to the ancient Somapura Mahavihara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    9. Sonargaon โ€“ The old capital of Bengal, featuring the Panam City ruins.

    10. Lalbagh Fort โ€“ A historical Mughal fort in Dhaka.

  3. If you're still in Bangladesh then I'm inviting you to Bagerhat, a historical town nearby the largest Mangrove forest Sundarban, the home of Royal Bengal Tiger.

  4. Very nice to see my country in your blog. However, I would say you didn't see the real Bangladesh yet, because February is not a good month for visit. My suggestion to you is to visit Bangladesh on rainy season and in winter season. Sreemangal, where you have visited, is not the north of Bangladesh, it is actually the east of Bangladesh. You could see the winter in the north of Bangladesh, like Rangpur, Kurigram etc. Best wishes for you!

  5. Thank you! Youโ€™ve cracked the code and discovered the true beauty of Bangladesh. The problem and paradox are that foreigners usually only see Dhaka because they connect with wealthy kids who speak better English. These kids often stay in Dhaka and never truly experience Bangladesh, as they are partially rooted elsewhere in there heart.

If you really want to see Bangladesh, donโ€™t go to Dhakaโ€”venture outside. Maybe visit Barishal, where there are countless rivers, or explore North Bengal for a different perspective.
