We visited the city-run Matsurube Snowland in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture.
A 5-hour lift ticket is only 1,500 yen, and a 1-day ticket is only 2,000 yen!
The staff is friendly and the ski slopes are empty.
I recommend this ski resort in Tohoku.
Nearby is the Matsurube Bridge, a post-earthquake relic.
