層雲峡 秋の銀泉台と駒草平 Sounkyo Ginsendai and Komakusadaira in autumn

銀泉台は大雪山国立公園の東部、標高約1,500メートルに位置する。紅葉の見ごろは9月中旬で、針葉樹の緑と広葉樹の朱色や黄色など、微妙な色の違いが幾重にも重なり、見事な美しさを見せる。
銀泉台へは層雲峡温泉から自家用車だと約40分ほどで大雪レイクサイド駐車場まで行き(層雲峡温泉から大雪レイクサイド駐車場までのシャトルバスもある) 、そこからシャトルバスに乗り換えて(紅葉シーズンは自家用車は通行止めとなる)、銀泉台の登山口まで行きます。シャトルバスで約35分、銀泉台の登山口(標高1,517ｍ)に着きます。登山口からは徒歩で30分ほどで紅葉の絶景を眺めることができる場所に着きます。そこから赤岳方面を徒歩で約90分で駒草平に到達します。
Ginsendai is located in the eastern part of Daisetsuzan National Park, at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. The best time to see the autumn leaves is in mid-September, when the subtle differences in color, such as the green of the conifers and the vermilion and yellow of the broadleaf trees, overlap in multiple layers to create a stunning beauty. It takes about 30 minutes on foot from the Ginsendai trailhead to reach Ginsendai, and about 90 minutes from there to reach Komakusa-daira.
