北海道室蘭市にあるトッカリショ岬。トッカリショとはアイヌ語で「アザラシの岩」という意味で、昔はアザラシがたくさんいたと言われています。長さ約200m、高さ約100mの突き出た岬は、緑のクマザサに覆われています。
Cape Tokkarisho-misaki in Muroran, Hokkaido. Tokkarisho comes from the Ainu word for “seal rock”. It is said that there used to be many seals here. The cape juts out about 200m length and 100m high. It is a scenic spot with a wild feel, covered in green bamboo grass.
