This video shows you around the sports park located in the southeastern suburbs of Asahikawa.
The walk started in the Hijirino area, located roughly between central Asahikawa and Higashikagura Town.
I passed over the dam that blocks the Chubetsu River nearby and head toward my destination, Toko Sports Park.
The park is one of the largest in Asahikawa, and during winter, it is covered in thick snow, with a cross-country skiing course set up.
It includes multiple baseball fields, soccer grounds, a park golf course, tennis courts, and playground equipments. Also, the Budokan, which remains open in winter, features an indoor sports hall and a training room.
