one of the beautiful places in Japan and a historically significant spring water spot recognized as one of the country’s Top 100 Famous Waters.
While many visitors now come to collect its pristine water,
this sacred site originally served as a training ground for Shugendo practitioners and was off-limits to women until modern times.

“Yarimizu Kannon Water” is a sacred spring deeply connected to Buddhist Kannon worship, believed to be blessed by the Kannon deity. The pure water flows continuously, and the area is filled with an abundance of negative ions, said to have a healing effect on both the mind and body.
