【4K】Murakami Castle (Niigata) / 村上城 (新潟)
Walk-through movie of Murakami castle (村上城) that is Japanese castle in Niigata pref. Located at north edge of Niigata plain, it stands over flat peak of Gagyusan mountain at backward of Murakami city central. It was built as home castle of local lord Honjo clan that was major retainer of Uesugi clan, and after move of Uesugi clan and Honjo clan it was reformed into modern castle under Hori clan or Matsudaira clan. As northern fortress protected north edge of Niigata area, its core part is fully protected by beautiful stone walls.
