Jingmen West Railway Station
Railway stations in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, China
Jingmenxi Railway Station is located in Jingmen City , Hubei Province , China.
It is a railway station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and is also the intersection station of Jingjing High-speed Railway , Xiangjing High-speed Railway and Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway.
Construction of Jingmen West Station started on July 3, 2022 the main structure of the station building was topped out on August 11, 2023 and it was put into operation on December 8, 2024
As of July 2024, the building area of Jingmen West Station is about 40,000 square meters, with a maximum capacity of 3,000 people and a station scale of 5 platforms and 13 lines

HISTORY
On June 22, 2018, the Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment approved the “Environmental Impact Report on the New Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway”, which included the establishment of Jingmen West Station in Duodao District, Jingmen City.
On August 5, 2021, the Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment approved the “Environmental Impact Report on the New Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway Wuhan-Yichang Section”, which includes the “Jingmen West Station” which is on the same line with the Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway
In May 2022, China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. and the People’s Government of Hubei Province jointly approved the “Feasibility Study Report on the Xiangyang-Jingmen High-Speed Railway” (Tie Fa Gai Han [2022] No. 180), which included the “Jingmen West Station” a station on the same line as the Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway and the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway.
On July 3, 2022, the construction of Jingmen West Station started. On September 18, 2022, the first section of steel columns at Jingmen West Station was successfully hoisted.
On August 11, 2023, the main structure of Jingmen West Station was capped on October 22, the steel grid of Jingmen West Station completed its first lift.
On January 6, 2024, the steel roof structure of Jingmen West Station was upgraded on July 5, the station name sign of Jingmen West Station was unveiled and on December 8, Jingmen West Station was put into operation
