From picking up rail passes, to transportation options, to booking bullet train tickets via a smartphone, hopefully there are a few tips for everyone.

  1. Very confused for me
I never take a train by myself before , in US where I lived in LA no train in my neighborhood.
So I don’t think I can travel to Japan by myself no way.

  2. I am Japanese and I found this video by accident.
All of what was explained in this video is right and useful when you’re gonna visit Japan.
Japanese stations are so confusing even Japanese people are often confused with, so you should look the navigation boards when you’re in Japanese stations. Don’t worry even if you can’t read Japanese. Most of the navigation board have a English translations so that people from overseas can travel or live comfortably.
Enjoy many attractive places and cultures in Japan!

  4. 駅弁の量が少ない理由
    1 そもそも日本人は少食の人が多い(身長が低い原因だと思う)
    2 お菓子やジュースを食べるから

  5. I have more than 30 videos on Japan travel. Please check out to my channel and subscribe for new update about japan travel.

  6. I'm Japanese. I watch this video for listening practice.I'm sorry if I made a mistake in English. This video is wonderful. However, there are some precautions. The first one is about IC cards . In this video, Suica which can be used in Kanto region (such as Tokyo) is shown. However, Suica may not be available in Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto.Nara.etc.).Please buy an ICOCA card in Kansai.Suica card is green and ICOCA card is light blue.

  7. One thing I would appreciate is an explanation on why one would prefer to use the delivery service instead of simply taking your luggage to the destination yourself.

  8. Am I correct that US electrical plugs work in Japanese electrical sockets without the need for an adapter? I am visiting Japan for first time next Spring and don't want to get caught out. Thanks. BTW, love these videos.

  9. I plan on visiting Japan for the first time next year. A couple of questions for the community:
How widespread and reliable is wifi in towns, cities, and on the shinkansen?
Can I rely on mainly using a credit card or will I need an ample supply of cash?

    Thank you.

  10. I wonder how much money I’d have if I got £1 for how many times “Tokyo” was said in this video lol

  11. How was the language barrier over there speaking English, was it hard trying to buy things or communicate with locals or trying to find locations?

  12. You should make a video for people ariving at Haneda. Though I use to live in Japan back when I was super young so I somewhat remember how to use the train, that was back in the 80s though.

  13. I liked Japan's culture & now heard they are going visa-free. Great place to live I suppose…for Spiritual people like me ❤🙏

  14. If you can help it, fly into Haneda, its soo much less of a hassle. Narita is pretty out of the way in comparison, but if I ever find myself flying into Narita for some reason, this was great advice!

  15. Good news! Apparently, Japan will be opening its borders to individual tourists starting October 11! I just posted on my channel our travel to Sapporo last 2020, a month before all the pandemic restrictions were imposed cause I really missed the country. Hopefully, if everything goes well, looking forward to our trip to Osaka this coming November
