織田信長の甥、織田信澄の居城大溝城跡を歩いてきました。
大溝城(おおみぞじょう)は、滋賀県高島市にあった日本の城。別名は高島城。鴻溝城(こうこうじょう〈こうこじょう〉鴻湖城(こうこじょう)とも称された。大溝城跡は高島市の史跡に指定されている。そのほか2015年(平成27年)に、国の重要文化的景観に選定された「大溝の水辺景観」の重要な構成要素として、大溝城跡や旧城下地区などが含まれる。「大溝の水辺景観」は、「日本遺産」に認定された「琵琶湖とその水辺景観 – 祈りと暮らしの水遺産」の構成文化財に選定されている。
津田 信澄(つだ のぶずみ)は、安土桃山時代の武将。織田氏の連枝衆(一門衆)であるが、姓は津田を称し、諱は信重といった。通称を七兵衛。近江大溝城主で、摂津大坂城代。
Omizo Castle was a Japanese castle located in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture. It was also known as Takashima Castle. It was also called Kokojo Castle (小小城). The ruins of Omizo Castle are designated as a historic site in Takashima City. In 2015, the ruins of Omizo Castle and the old castle area were included as important components of the “Omizo Waterfront Landscape,” which was designated as an Important Cultural Landscape of the country. The “Omizo Waterfront Landscape” was selected as a component cultural property of “Lake Biwa and its Waterfront Landscape – Water Heritage of Prayer and Living,” which was certified as a “Japan Heritage.”
Tsuda Nobuzumi was a military commander in the Azuchi-Momoyama period. He was a member of the Oda clan’s branch family (a clan leader), but his surname was Tsuda and his given name was Nobushige. He was commonly known as Shichibei. He was the lord of Omizo Castle in Omi and the lord of Osaka Castle in Settsu.
