Wonderful Winter Walk in Hokkaido | Higashikawa Snowy Tour | Virtual Walk Japan



Join me this Christmas morning for a relaxing walk in the beautiful deep snow in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, ( 東川町 北海道 ) . Higashikawa is a lovely small town near the city of Asahikawa, and is located in Japan’s largest national park – Daisetsuzan National Park. Our virtual walk on this beautiful morning starts at Higashikawa Shrine, a beautiful shinto shrine surrounded by trees, in the center of town. This peaceful place is absolutely gorgeous on this crisp winter morning. Taking a walk through the grounds of the shrine, I cross the main street and walk east along the main road to explore the center of town before ending my tour outside the Higashikawa Michnoeki, a Roadside Station selling local produce, snacks, souvenirs, and other local goods. The deep snow and clear blue sky today make for a beautiful winter walk in this lovely little town in Hokkaido! I hope you enjoy the ASMR ambient noise in this calming winter walking tour!
