Saved to watch when I get a spare hour to watch later 🙏🏻
Selma, AL., in my honest opinion is one of the most significant cities within the entire southern black belt. The Civil Rights history that permeates from this town is epic. The Pettus bridge marks the famous marches that took place back in the Jim Crow times which was celebrated with the death of John Lewis in these recent years. The city seems somewhat vibrant despite some empty buildings downtown but overall it retains the energy that was once the pride of the south. IF I personally moved to Alabama, this is the city that i would call my home.
Beautiful city

There are so many avenues we can visit in telling the history of our City. Selma AL is and will always be a vein in the heart of The civil rights movement. The experiences lived in our beloved city cannot be expressed or interpreted in way other than the black experience. I mean what else is there…….
