【4K】Qiaozhuang Village, a traditional Chinese village in ruins.
Qiaozhuang is a natural village, with ancient dwellings distributed in steps between the ditches in the village. On a flat ground at the west end of the village stands an ancient quadrangle-style building facing north and south, which is the Qiao Family Ancestral Hall. The walls on both sides of the front hall of the ancestral hall are inlaid with inscriptions from the 23rd year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1843 AD) and the 6th year of the Republic of China (1917 AD). The front of the courtyard is a cave dwelling against the mountain, and the traditional brick carving of “Fu Shou Lu” is written just above the cave door. The font is vigorous and the carvings are exquisite.
On the slope of the ditch to the north of the village are ancient dwellings in Qiaozhuang, most of which are quadrangle-style. There are 24 Qing Dynasty buildings with more than 100 houses. There are more than 10 well-preserved independent courtyards with 21 caves. They are all carved from the mountain, surrounded by houses and surrounded by courtyards. Most of them are made of stone, rammed earth, and blue bricks, forming different two-courtyard, three-courtyard, three-courtyard and four-courtyard courtyards.
Today, Qiaozhuang ancient dwellings have been listed in the list of traditional Chinese villages.
