The road runs from Wakamatsu Station in Wakamatsu Ward, Kitakyushu City, its starting point, to the Wakamatsu Power Plant intersection, and is a major road that passes through the waterfront industrial area. It also serves as an access road to the Hibiki Container Terminal, and so has a lot of traffic of large vehicles.
