just caught the last few minutes. interesting scene. The closest I got to that far south area of Thailand is a mini bus to border from Phi Phi ferry to Langkawi ferry so I dont remember much.
KFC is one of the food chains boycotted by Malaysians… Free Palestine!!!
And also, if U take the van, U need to wait till the van is full wt passengers, b4 embarks to Thailand. Instead, U took the motorbike, hense need not hv to wait.

At the border the guy with motorbike said he bring you to padang besar van station/ mini bus. If you take the van at border you need to wait until the van full enough then straight to hatyai. Because there is no bus from padang besar to hatyai

If you want to go hatyai there is special train that you could catch from alor star direct. should ask the KTM station people.
