岩手三陸海岸の絶景 浄土ヶ浜の海の風景と星空タイムラプス/Jodogahama Beach, located in the center of Sanriku Revival Coast and Sanriku Geopark, is a scenic spot representing Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture Tohoku Japan.
The contrast between the landscape of the white pebble beach and the blue sea is beautiful.
The transparent water color is also called the ultramarine blue sea because vivid colors such as emerald green and ultramarine blue can be seen depending on the viewing angle and the weather.
Jodogahama was named after the Ryuko Reikyu of the 7th Miyakoyama Joan-ji Temple Monk praised the scenery like the paradise Jodo that spread in front of you.
It is reported here that you have witnessed a spectacular view that you have never seen before about 300 years ago.
The rhyolite, which has cooled and hardened the volcanic magma, has repeatedly eroded over a long period of time, and you can see the scenic rocks lined with sharp rocks.
A fantastic sight that does not exist in Japan, as well as a landscape like a Japanese garden, can be said to be truly paradise.

三陸復興海岸や三陸ジオパークの中心に位置する浄土ヶ浜は、岩手県宮古市を代表する景勝地です。
白い小石の浜辺が広がる風景と青い海のコントラストが美しく、透明感のある水の色は見る角度や天候などによってエメラルドグリーンや群青色など鮮やかな色彩を見せる事から、「群青の海」とも呼ばれています。
浄土ヶ浜の名称は、宮古山常安寺七世の霊鏡和尚が「さながら極楽浄土のごとし」と、目の前に広がる風景に感嘆したことから名付けられたともいわれており、約300年前に未だに見た事のない絶景を目の当たりにしたことがこの地に伝えられています。
火山のマグマが冷えて固まった流紋岩が長い年月をかけて浸食を繰り返し、削り取られて尖ったような巨岩が立ち並ぶ風景、そして日本庭園のような景色と共に海外にでも訪れたかのような幻想的な光景は、まさに極楽浄土とも感じ取れます。

この映像では、深夜から6時間撮影を続けた星景のタイムラプス動画と青い海の美しさが広がる日中の景色を収録しています。
