How does this store compare to where you live in the world? Do you have a specific local shop that you visit often?
Feel like shouting Russell a Coca Cola, or maybe even lunch. Ways you can support me and the channel

может и дешевле не много в сетевых магазинах но тут никуда ехать не надо вышел из дома 5 минут и ты опять дома очень удобно когда тебя какую то мелочь надо купить или забыл купить
Hi there. You've shown this store once before, haven't you? It looks quite cozy. It's always nice to have a local store where everybody knows you. Here in Sweden these kind of stores are often called "Nära" (Nära means "Nearby" in Swedish). Perfect for a day when the weather is bad and you wanna stay at home, but really need some groceries. Most of them are located on the ground floor, though, not in the basement. The basement's in Sweden are usually reserved for storage use or smaller offices. Eggs mostly comes in packages of 6, 12, 18 or 24. An ordinary mid size 12 pack (not ecological) costs around 25 Crowns wich should be close to 200 Rubles. Thanks for a very interesting video and for a nice youtube channel.
We have a small local shop about 10 min walk from our house. It's a little bigger than this one but doesn't have the same amount of choices as yours. Eggs now costs around 25 Rubles each here in Sweden. Aaand even your little local store has Milka Chocolate 🙂.
Another great video .My nearest super market is just 4 mins walk and another over the road .A happy video as ever .Like 🙂
Eggs in Nashville, TN can be between $2.50 -$5.00 for a dozen depending on quality and if they are cage free and organic !
Overflow of products, like 1956 in defeated Germany😅
Посмотрел на все это другими глазами как будто, какие мы счачтливые в какой-то степени, с такими маленькими магазинчиками связаны довольно теплые воспоминания… Я люблю свою Родину и людей.
In my part of Canada (an hour from Toronto), 12 white eggs are $3.79 but 12 brown eggs are $5.49 😢 We also had a lot of snow this week but no snow days unfortunately. We don’t get a snow day unless it’s impossible to leave the house it seems lol I had to do a lot of shovelling. I’m lucky to be alive 😂 that was hard work.
Hasn’t a previous video been shown of this store? I seem to remember it. Not really a large enough place for an entire episode
Yes Russell please review the alcohol shop next!! 😊
1 euro = 97,3 rubels …. so its 1euro and 9 or 10 cts….. ….i live in budapest …10 eggs cheapest 549 hungarian florint …most expensive 10 is 1300 HUF what translates into 1300/385 = 3 euro 85 cents,,,, in the spar-shop (german tesco-alike)
Russian and French use the same word for pineapple. Must remember that.
Hi Nice all the classic US food items selling for lower prices in Russia due to no Shareholders or need to pay stock Dividends. Low Inflation. But I see very few Potatoes or Cabbages on the shelves?
METRO ///in hungary is indeed a hypermarket but only for owners of companies …i have a metro card …im a foreighner that protested by having a filled car but no card …so they gave me 1 ..hahahaha
metro is part of MAKRO ….in holland is that only for retailers and shop owners…
btw in holland in albert heijn shop cheapest eggs 10 pc…. 3euro 50 … to 6 euros the bio freerange
nice informative videos …. like always ….thank you for making them…
Hi Russel, eggs here average in recent years between 40 to 60 cents per egg Canadian or 52+ for US. Buying from local farms is more expensive but the chickens are supposedly free range and raised naturally. This store we don’t really have here. It’s a small version of a super market. While we have convenience stores they are not like this. And though some apartments now are starting to have stores in underneath in certain areas only it’s a different layout and certainly not submerged below ground. This is so civilized and convenient. I wonder about the quality and if the foods there are made without harmful GMOs and chemicals that are so ubiquitous with North American foods.
In december 2023 a median salary in Moscow was 500 € (50.000 rubels). If you write from EU, US and so on, you can compare your salary with 500 € in Moscow and prices in your supermarket and in the supermarket in the Russel's video.
127K subbys and growing. Nice one mate…glad to be here from the beginning always a thrilled to watch your vlogs. Never a dull moment. Keep up the exceptional content my brother. Cheers!🍻
So where is the vodka?
Russell, what are typical hours for these stores? In America there is so many stores open 24 hours, i hate it. It seems nothing ever stops and rests here. How is it in Russia?
Here in Canada, eggs are about 6-7 dollars CAD for 20 eggs. Though ours usually come in a dozen, so I multiplied to get the equivalent amount. Just for comparison.
Another Fully Stocked Store and no Customers, except for one lady with two snacks in a shopping cart. 😅
In germany the tiny stores in little towns or small villages were called "Tanne Emma Laden". You can translate that with "Aunt Emma´s shop". Unfortunately you don´t see them anymore. Costs, big chains, internet…
