Join Danny on a full tour walk though of “The most luxurious ship at sea!” the Regent Seven Seas Explorer. Unlike many other YouTube channels, we wanted to get more in depth with the spaces and walk the entire ship. Danny uses his extensive cruise knowledge to give you a detailed explanation to help you plan your next cruise on this beautiful new vessel.

This full video tour includes all outdoor areas, restaurants, bars, lounges and public areas. We also were able to film the beautiful suites aboard the Explorer, so be sure to check out those as well. The Regent suite is unlike anything we have ever seen, you’ll want to take a look for yourself!
SHIP STATS
750 GUESTS
552 CREW
375 SUITES
10 DECKS
735 FT LENGTH
102 FT WIDTH
55,254 TONNAGE
What you will notice from the ship statistics above is the remarkable passenger to crew ration that Regent has been able to maintain. This extremely high ratio allows for a level of service not possible on other cruise ships. The public spaces on this remarkable ship are beautiful, but it is impossible to film the higher level of service provided, and that all starts with the passenger to crew ratio.
DAYTIME ENRICHMENT
You’ll find time spent on board the ship to be just as enriching as time ashore. Relax by the pool, compete in a friendly game of trivia or bocce ball, indulge in treats at afternoon tea and gain insight from an expert lecturer.
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
Evenings on board are filled with music and fun. Enjoy a rousing cabaret show, test your luck at the Casino, step onto the stage for karaoke or simply find a quiet place on deck to revel in the symphony of stars.
SPA & FITNESS
Luxury travel is a holistic experience, one that reenergizes and restores the mind, body and spirit, leaving you with a greater sense of satisfaction and wellbeing. CULINARY ARTS KITCHEN
Join expert chefs in a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen on board Seven Seas Splendor™ or Seven Seas Explorer®. Learn to prepare authentic local recipes, and savor the flavors of the regions you are visiting.
DINING VENUES
CHARTREUSE
Savor ‘new’ flavors to Chartreuse like a tender veal rack of loin with caramelized endive, grape chutney and the earthy tones of a walnut veal jus sauce.
PACIFIC RIM
Maximize your sense of the exotic as you pass a large Tibetan Prayer wheel on your way into Pacific Rim, our dining masterpiece that celebrates the culinary traditions of Asia. Be sure to check out the ocean views through Pacific Rim’s lotus-shaped windows.
PRIME 7
A true classic in every sense, Prime 7 of Seven Seas Explorer is the epitome of luxury dining. Works by Picasso and Chagall adorn the restaurant’s bar lobby and leather wing-back chairs and burnished woods abound. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar before savoring a succulent filet mignon or mouthwatering côte de boeuf at your personal banquette. For dessert, perhaps a slice of 14-layer Valhrona chocolate cake with pistachio sauce.
COMPASS ROSE
The largest specialty restaurant at sea, the Compass Rose on Seven Seas Explorer delights with a beautifully defined atmosphere that transitions from refreshing natural light during the day to a dazzling cobalt blue reflected by a glass installation overhead. Choose from a seemingly endless combination of dishes, prepared to taste, garnished with a sauce of choice and complemented with side dishes, as well as nightly specials.
LA VERANDA
Located on Deck 11 aft, guests take in stunning ocean views while enjoying elegant breakfast and lunch buffets in the chic indoor dining room or al fresco on the shaded, open-air deck. Breakfasts include traditional favorites, as well as a made-to-order omelet station, a variety of fresh fruits and pastries, along with daily specials, like fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh blueberry compote. For lunch guests indulge in an array of choices from a bountiful salad bar, gourmet sandwiches, hot carving stations and delicious desserts.
SETTE MARI AT LA VERANDA
Each evening, La Veranda transforms into Sette Mari at La Veranda, a casual, intimate dining experience. Choose from authentic Italian specialties inspired by family recipes that span generations, or opt for something with a modern twist like a spice-crusted tuna steak with braised endive, polenta and salmoriglio.

I must agree with others who commented. Danny is by far the most engaging tour guide on any property, be it on land or sea. I wonder if Danny would be mute if someone tied his hands behind his back. It does portray the unbounded energy he has for his job. I look forward to his review of the Splendor. Hopefully before I board for their 12-22 Holiday cruise thru the Panama Canal.
I would call the "fake fireplace" an "ambient fireplace" 😉 that one's free
It looks like they let you aboard on turnover day, in port, between cruises for an hour while no one was aboard, to run about and do your video.
Then they kicked you off.
Admit it.
I was going to book with them but the guy mentioned all female staff so another load of woke crap then. Will book silverseas.
outstanding tour, I could've watched another hour of this easily. TYVM and if I ever get the $$$ to travel I'll be sure to look you up.
Best review. Well done
So lucky I had a chance to work onboard this ship for almost 3 years 🙂 Home away from home!
Danny's 2 favorite words: massive and really. Lol
Your video's are very informative we enjoy them. Thank you. We Love Regent Seven Seas Cruise Ships too❤
In 2023 I’m going to Alaska and I’m going on this ship
Very well informed, organized tour. Thank you for this. I'll contact you soon with some questions after I do a bit more research.
Was this an over 55 age cruise? Cause I like the age group in this video…..How do I ask to be in this type of age group cruise?
So, I'm going on this ship in February to the Caribbean. I guess I'm going to have to find that fancy Rose Titanic dress, aren't I? Ah ha ha ha.
I can not wait ..January 3ed Miami to San Diego 😍😍😍
Thanks so much for such a wonderful video.
May I know how to make a reservation for the Asian restaurant so I have a reservation when arrive ? Thanks in advance.
Sincerely ,
Patricia
Bro started the video with “greetings”😂😂😂
September! Can't wait… thanks for the tour!
A quick question. I am going to embark on 14th of February at Regent Explorer, Miami. This is my first time to be working on a cruiseship. I do not have a Seaman’s Book but I have already applied for it and got a CT certificate from Panama Maritime Authority. Am I allowed to move out on a port day . Help and guideline in this would be appreciated. Thanks
At dinner in each restaurant during your entire voyage, after your first entrée are you allowed a complementary second entrée?
Wow such a great tour. I felt like you were docent at upscale museum giving a tour due the most elegant art on a ship.
Do you cruise out of Los Angeles?
Many thanks for such an in-depth look at this luxurious ship!
ち
I was hoping you would show me some of the staterooms (cabins). That was my main purpose of watching this video.
Is the sauna and steam room co ed or separate?
I don’t even like cruises but this guy worth watching no matter what he does. Good guy.
You spent a lot of time taking us thru the spa space, at the top of the review you stated that everything was included in the price, does that include the Spa?
