  1. Wish Holland would sail out of Port Canaveral. Closer and less traffic than Fort Lauderdale

  2. Every time I hear about Port Canaveral being the busiest cruise port, I just keep thinking how they also probably have the most shorter cruises like all of the 34 and five day cruises deadlines like Disney offer. Also, since Disney sells out of there and they often have at least four people in a cabin, I’m sure that pads the numbers as well so it’s kind of like comparing apples to oranges when comparing Canaveral to Fort Lauderdale or Miami

  3. I wish the City of Jacksonville would build a new cruise terminal so larger ships could use it.

  4. Love going out of Canaveral on cruises, easy access, easy parking and WAY shorter drive for me.

  5. Good morning Doug, have you heard any news about Jacksonville putting in a new cruise terminal so we can get bigger ships and different lines here ?

  6. Please Pray for my niece josephine Brito she have a chronic kidney disease and she's only 29 years old with a 7 year old son. Thank you

  7. Canaveral is our favorite port. Easy in and out! We'd like to do a Great Lakes cruise sometime, but they're really pricy. We can almost do two Caribbean cruises for the cost of a Great Lakes cruise. Hmmm…. Two cruises with sunny beaches, or one cruise in our "backyard". That's easy math!!

  8. Nice, and so far we've cruised out of Port Canaveral on most of our sailing so far. We are scheduled to sail out of New Orleans, Miami. We'd love to sail out of Charleston before Carnival leaves there and of course squeeze on a Jacksonville & Norfolk in the next couple years. Really liking these Mobile port stops. Great cruise news day Doug. Thank you.

  9. While I'm very pleased to see the Great Lakes emerge as a cruising region, Viking's offerings are Antarctic cruise level money ($10k). Milwaukee – no offense – is not Antarctica. Perhaps if Viking is successful, other operators will enter the market and push prices down.

  10. I have to say, my one sailing out of Port Canaveral (as opposed to Manhattan, NYC or Bayonne, NJ) was kinda awful. It was for Mardi Gras and the line was incredibly long, out in the hot sun. And unlike in Manhattan, they had no separate line for suite guests or those in the higher levels of their loyalty program. It just felt really, really chaotic and disorganized. But maybe it was just that particular sailing.

  11. Good morning, Doug. Great way to start my day! Thanks for all the Cruise News!! 👋👋

  12. After cruising into Miami and dealing with the awful Miami airport, we will never cruise into or out of Miami again.

  13. I knew this was going to happen. They have SOOOOO many ships and always goes unnoticed because it’s not highly talked about. And tbh… everything they do there is miles better than Miami. Only thing Miami has is good sail away views.

  14. 2022 i sail Carnival out of PC, HAL out of Ft L, Oceania out Miami. Live in Westchester County so i like out of Manhattan terminals. 😊

  15. We saw this coming for years. Port Canaveral was much easier to get in and out of. Miami is improving now though.
