If you have a little long time in Sapporo like one week, I also recommend you to go to Hakodate. That’s great town. A bit far away though. One recommendation from Japan

Hard to believe that Sapporo and Marseille are both the same latitude. But Marseille doesn't snow that much.
Japan is beautiful and has a fascinating culture with delicious food. It would be a wonderful place to visit. I like all the shrines and peaceful gardens. I want to learn more about the shinto religion. Some people say it's not really a religion.
