Japanese chain hotel WERE cheap 5YEARS AGO AirBnB is better these days honestly ! Esp for familys !! ✌🏻

I normally use Toyoko Inn in Japan and South Korea, they are always clean, safe and staff are very friendly – when I stayed in the Busan Station location and needed a taxi very early one morning there were none available, but the lady at reception was so kind and booked one for me using an app on her personal phone. Amazing service. The hotels have lots of amenities too. The breakfasts are good at all the locations I have stayed at and they normally change the breakfasts each day so the selection does not get boring. The membership card is good, giving a 5% discount on the regular price, plus after the 10th night you get a night stay for free! Sotetsu are good but not in as many locations and more expensive.
