+1. Shikoku is my favorite place to visit in Japan now. Highly recommend!
I’d love to visit this location, it’s incredible!
I went here last year, as well as Ozu for the castles and manor houses. Highly recommended.
It's definitely on my agenda. Love it.😍
Shikoku is a brilliant choice to visit. Great effort with your video. 👍
Great video 😃 Uchiko is already on my list for the next trip to Japan…
I already been there 2 times
What a lovely place! Thanks for showing us this interesting spot and I really love the calm presentation and all the information!
👍👍
Indeed a nice place. I visited in as day trip, first Garyu Sanso in Ozu, and then Uchiko. But for the kabuki theater, at least in 2017, the guide was only explaining in Japanese (thankfully, a Japanese expat kindly translate it).
As it was a Sunday, the candle shop was closed (but I bought similar one in another shop in Hida-Furakawa, another beautiful small city).
The kite museum is quite interesting, but I need to indicate the direction to the taxi driver!
Uchiko seems very beautiful and the Inn you stayed at as well. Thank you very much for sharing.
Do you think that visiting the places you visited without speaking Japanese is okay?
Thank you to Japan Guide for introduce Shikoku based on my feedback. Shikoku is one of the most under-rated destinations in Japan. There are lot of attractions in Shikoku waiting to be explore & i hope the Japan Guide can do more recommendation to the viewers in the future.
Thanks for teaching me about Shikoku. I will definitely be visiting in the near future. Aloha 🤙
Why not include "Uchiko" in the video title and thumbnail to promote the location better? It's like going to a Tokyo neighborhood and titling the video "Kanto".
Shikoku is the least visited region of Japan……..the irony is that it's just around one hour away from the Kansai region where Osaka and Kyoto are located
Please don't miss the enormous and lovely (modern) reclining Buddha in the charming 500 year old Kosho-Ji temple at the top of the historic street!
Amazing place and great storytelling!!!
I've been a your channel subscriber for many years! I'm so grateful for the opportunity, at least virtually, to visit various corners of my beloved Japan! You have a truly wonderful team! No one likes you, guys! ❤
What a gorgeous town. Those buildings are truly amazing.
