During our last trip to Japan this was one of the most notable experiences there so I just wanted to make this quick video to maybe inspire some people. Yes it is completely possible to just come there, dig a hole and chill…for free! The feeling that you made your own natural onsen!!! Kawayu in Wakayama prefecture is one of the good places to do so.

That looked like so much fun! I think the only place I ever remember getting into naturally hot water was this beach in France when we went on a school trip when I was a kid. I don't even remember where it was ( it was an awful trip lol ). I just remember running into the sea and thinking, whoaaaaa, why does it feel like I'm running into a toasty bath X'D.
