  1. The height of the piled up snow really showed the intensity of the snowfall. I can imagine how difficult it must have been for the residents, tourists, and kudos to the workers racing to clear the roads and sidewalks.

One of the best gifts a person can give is a little more patience. A little more patience to allow a pedestrian to take their time crossing a snow-covered road; a little more patience for cars struggling to get unstuck from the snow; a little more patience for those who arrive late for work, school, or appointments because of traffic conditions. A little more patience for people who may feel low or overwhelmed by the extraordinary snowy weather, and a little more patience for those who step forward to help. We never know, offering just a little more patience might be enough to make someone’s day.

Thank you for your hard work to capture this historical moment in Sapporo!

    ドカ雪が大変ですね。でも雪が降っていたのに 札幌が美しくなりました。お疲れ様でした。ありがとうございました。

  2. It reminds me of tomorrow's movie. It's like a disaster situation. Is this beautiful😢

  3. Your are snow-walk-hero, super nice ambient, thanks for your cold hard work 🥶🥶🙏🙏 Greetings from Berlin/Germany

  4. This Sapporo snow walk is a visual masterpiece of raw nature meeting urban life! Seeing a city of two million people completely buried under record-breaking snowfall—while the massive snow sculptures of the 2026 Snow Festival take shape—is a hauntingly beautiful, surreal experience. The biting cold of $-4.7°C and the sheer scale of the blizzard create a breathtaking atmosphere that feels like a scene from another world.

  5. ふと思い立ち、スタックしたときの脱出方法を調べてみましたが、
    調べて事前準備したところで実際スタックした際、パニックになりそうですね。

  6. Oh my! I visited Sapporo last May and it was so lovely. The snow is beautiful, but i will have to visit when the grass is green and the flowers are blooming. 😊

  7. WOW. In Germany, people are already overwhelmed by 20-30 cm of snow and close schools and public transportation. I always take my hat off to Japan.

  8. Кто ж вам виноват что ваши коммунальные службы не умеют работать. Зато кубы из снега классные, но я сейчас страшную тайну открою – это абсолютно бесполезно.
