今回の旅先は大阪府三島郡島本町にある『若山神社（わかやまじんじゃ）』です。
大阪とは思えないような静かな山間にひっそりと鎮座する神社で、ツブラジイ林に囲まれた美しい石畳の参道と赤い鳥居がとても印象的でした！
本殿は北摂地域を代表する神社建築として国の登録有形文化財にもなっています。
また境内からは、石清水八幡宮がある男山や桂川、宇治川、木津川の三川合流地点なども眺めることが出来る眺望も素晴らしかったです。

Our destination on this trip was Wakayama Shrine in Shimamoto-cho, Mishima-gun, Osaka Prefecture.
This shrine is quietly nestled in the mountains, making it hard to believe it’s in Osaka. The beautiful stone-paved approach and red torii gate surrounded by a Tsuburajii forest were very impressive!
The main hall is a representative shrine building of the Hokusetsu region and is a nationally registered tangible cultural property.
The temple grounds also offered fantastic views of Mt. Otoko, where Iwashimizu Hachiman-gu Shrine is located, as well as the confluence of the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu rivers.
