    I love your channel! Due to healthissues I never got to travel to Japan and probably never will. Travelling through your eyes is filling that void to some extent.

    Wonderful trip to share with us. I wish we had such things here. Some areas known for wine vineyards have wine tasting trains but I have not seen anything like this.

    What a nice combination of a Guided tour, a restaurant, and a train ride!
    The train was very smooth and quiet, but I still admire the skill of the servers who can deliver your meal without spilling anything!
    I want to be a "waver," like the man with the 2 umbrellas! I think I could do that!

    学生時代、まだJR西日本管轄だったころ、直江津-糸魚川間を毎日電車通学していました。
    車窓からの日本海、雪景色も懐かしいです。
    今こうして観光列車として新しく人々に親しまれているのは
    感慨深いものがありますね。

    I love trains, and this journey and train is just wonderful – thank you very much for sharing ! The meal looks so good and is so nicely presented. We were in Niigata-ken for 7 days last March, and we really loved it. On Sado island, we ate a lot of crab, so I am happy to see, that its also in your meal. The beer also looks good. Alpenblick is by the way a German word, and means "View (blick) of the Alp mountains.

    The only negative things is, that there was not enough snow 🙂. When we were there, it was truly snow country, and now I have started reading the novel "snow country" by Kawabata Yasunari.

    P.S. The underground station looks good. It reminds me of Doai station in Gunma-ken, a place I would like to visit one day.

    この「雪月花」、全てが新潟県産にこだわっているのは有名ですが、車両自体のメーカーも新潟県内の会社です。聖籠町にある「新潟トランシス」という、鉄道車両等の輸送機器を造っている会社です。同社は、国内の気動車製造シェアは圧倒的です。

    Great trip. This train debuted nearly decade ago but you got the chance to ride this today, meaning to booking this train is hard. The design is unique, both driver cab windshield and passenger window using panoramic view.

    良い列車ですネ。運行スピードを40km程度にしてゆっくり車窓と各駅でのイベント。そんな風にして8時間程楽しめる企画にすれば良いと思いました。オプション支払いにクレジットカードがＯＫなのかも気になりました。

    Beautiful trains, superb interiors, fabulous meals. Why can't other railway companies do this? Imagine if Scotrail (Scotland, UK) had the commitment to put this type of train on their Highland lines (Fort William/Kyle of Lochalsh) or Northern Trains (UK) for their Settle/Carlisle line) then they would be incredibly popular. People will pay a premium price for premium service, even if it is only once a day or even once a week.
