Let’s find out Join us for the ride！ hi everyone welcome back and welcome on board Panda express the world’s only panda themed luxury train it’s also my first time in a luxury train and this time we were invited by Hua Yun Travel to try one of their lines in the coming 48 hours we’re going to ride from Sichuan Chengdu to see the cute Pandas and also some amazing mountain villages in Guizhou and this short route is one of the many journeys created by Huayun so from the Tianshan mountains to the Silk road to the snow Wonderland in northeast China each line takes you to see a different a unique aspect of China and we are just waiting in the train station and this station is called anjing station which is the smaller station a more quieter choice compared with the busy chengdu train station and in the beginning we were a bit worried that we won’t be able to find a place but everything is arranged so they will pick us up from the airport they took us here and our luggage is already delivered so once you arrive everything is arranged everything is hassle free Do you want a candy painting? Can you make me a Panda one? Of course before boarding the train you can even get a nice gift this is a tanghua, i.e., a candy paint which is very traditional wow that is a panda now we are waiting in a vip lunch and at the corner there is a dessert place full of panda cakes the Panda is literally everywhere even in the toilet in the washroom Anjing station may look modest but the attention to detail is surprisingly thoughtful we were even welcomed by a sichuan opera face changing performance even before boarding one thing is already clear this journey is very panda themed Hello, be careful and mind your steps well this whole train whole car looks so fancy we got our room card our badge wow we just board the train and right now let me give you a full room tour so our room has a big bed i think it’s about in total 10 square meters and there are two pandas on the bed and we just droped our luggage there is a place where you can hang the jackets we got this fruit plate there is some water and there is a small mini fridge ah this is a torch and the sleeping eye mask even a small table a couch nice that’s cool and now let’s check the bathroom wow oh the toilet seat opens automatically when i entered so it’s a Japanese toilet and here you get the toothbrush toothpaste mouthwash towels hairdryer and a golden glowy mirror i’ve never had this much luxury in a train especially when you have a private bathroom and a private shower and there is a rain shower and a shower head and you get all the shampoo conditioner, shower gel and the body lotion had some more new discoveries so there is actually more luggage space under the bed so even if you have a lot of luggage there is plenty of space oh there are even those bags very nice shopping bag i’m going to take this with me back home together with all those pandas we just got a wine i got my Riesling and Flo got a beer we’re going back to our table for dinner we just had a toast with our neighbor our first dinner on the train i must say it’s really outstanding we got a three course meal starter is a soup and three cold dishes Okra, prawn and some beef the main dish there are two actually one is the lamb the other is the abalone i’m never disappointed by Chinese food but this is really outstanding and also the service people are really considerate they keep asking what we want and all the foods are very very well prepared the materials are so fresh Xiao Du Xiao Du Whats the wifi password? 88888888 that’s a favorite password in China in 99 percent of the time the wifi password in China is 88888888 at night there are plenty of activities to do on the train there is a concert in the bar but we’re going to sleep because tomorrow we’re going to see the real pandas Xiao Du Xiao Du I am here turn off the light please okay so good night Good night we are so excited right now because we’re going to see the animal the cutest animal in the world the panda and right now we are in Chengdu Panda center and you see there are so many people who are selling those cute pandas the whole panda base is really big so now we are taking a small minibus the first stop we’re going to is called xinqingchangfang it’s called the star nursery we go where you can see the baby pandas there are a lot of foreigners as well but everyone is quiet they don’t want to scare the pandas in this part there are two giant pandas one is the sleeper and he buried his face in the arms and he made himself into a fluffy ball i swear Pandas are the cutest animals on earth they are big yet fluffy and clumsy and the other one is a eater he has been lying on the grass and he enjoyed the fresh bamboo leaf this baobao panda over there has been hanging in the tree for half an hour, trying to get out this bro over there has been sleeping there for i think 30 mins i was wondering that must be a great life sleeping all day long just a quick information the fertility rate of panda is fairly low because normally they’re mate in summer and a mother panda can have one or two babies and the baby is only the size of your palm it’s like a small mouse and sometimes the mother panda will even abandon one baby so that’s why there are so many nurseries so that human beings can help the pandas to reproduce before leaving the pandas we have got a lot of purchases so look we got everything for a 100 yuan there is a panda bag and some small pandas four pieces and then a red panda i think they are the perfect gifts for Christmas at the panda base everyone seems to be smiling there are very few animals in the world that can charm people so effortlessly in afternoon we headed back to downtown chengdu to heming tea house in chengdu drinking tea is a long standing tradition people sit outdoors watch tea being prepared and let time slow down and after dinner we returned to the train for the night literally every time when they walk past by the massage chair there is someone inside now we are at the very end of the train so behind us there are two working cars that we are not allowed to enter and starting from here it’s the sleeper they are all together twelve soft sleepers in a train and now we are walking in one of them the whole car is very well designed along the way you can see those traditional elements from sichuan for example this is shadow puppetry this is bamboo weaving pandas they are very considerate look at this even the paintings are covered with a soft plastic this is a qiangxiu so qiangxiu is a embroidery traditional embroidery in sichuan province what i really like about the train is that every other car there is a little space like this it’s a social space where you can read a book lie down or simply enjoy your time with your kids so now it’s the restaurant this car is the restaurant while all the stuff is preparing dinner i can smell i can smell the nice food this part is the dining car there are all together 54 seats and now we’ve entered another room a multifunctional room so this is also the place where sometimes the performance is going to take place there is a mini bar at the very end and there is also a small private smoking space a cigar room hello hello the second massage chair in the train Liuyun Pavilion i think this is the last wagon the last entertainment car of the train and here there is one tea room or you can enjoy the tea and let me move a bit further so this is a board game room so where you can play Mahjong Mahjong is a very popular traditional Chinese board game and there is also Go game a third Mahjong room it’s kind of nice because if you have friends to travel with you can play cards together and at the very end wow and the very last place turned out to be a karaoke room so you really cannot miss this if you’re in China and this room is amazingly bright because the windows are so big during the daytime you can really enjoy the view and the night turn into a ballroom you can order the song from that tiny machine at the end of the room and then sing together with your friends and dance i am definitely coming back tonight how long have you been working on the train It’s our first year Have you been to southern and northern Xinjiang?
