今回は鳥取県倉吉市にあります倉吉白壁土蔵群の紹介です。

白壁土蔵群の魅力
元々このエリアは室町時代に打吹城の城下町として形成され、江戸時代に陣屋を中心に武家屋敷が建てられました。江戸、明治、大正、昭和の建物が時代を経て今も残っています。現在は蔵や町家をリノベーションしたショップやカフェ、工房もあり、時間をかけて町歩きを楽しめるエリアになっています。
The appeal of the Shirakabe Dozo group
This area was originally formed as a castle town around Utsubuki Castle during the Muromachi period, and samurai residences were built around the Jinya during the Edo period. Buildings from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods still remain to this day. Today, renovated storehouses and townhouses are home to shops, cafes, and workshops, making it an area where you can enjoy taking your time walking around the town.
