【長野県佐久市】異世界のような誰もいない美しい限界集落を彷徨った

長野県佐久市(さくし)。
長野県と群馬県を結ぶ狭く荒れた峠道の先。
奥へ進むと美しい集落が現れます。
立派な古民家が多く建つ素晴らしい景色が広がります。
しかし、すぐに違和感を覚えました。
集落に住人が全くいないのです。
いつの頃からか消滅集落に変わり果てていました。
まるで異世界に迷い込んだと錯覚します。
錯覚ではなく現実世界なのが信じられません。
集落は住人がいるかのように整備されています。
倒木は見当たらず、雑草は生い茂っていません。
野生動物が荒らしたような跡も見当たりません。
親族が頻繁に管理しているのでしょうか。
人がいない映画のような世界を彷徨いました。
深い山奥でこれだけ見事な集落が繫栄していました。
当時の養蚕業がいかにすさまじかったかが分かります。
国策であった養蚕は日本の至る所で見られました。
多くの人々が富を得て潤いました。
そんな栄えた地域も今は夢の跡。
古民家たちは静かに眠り続けています。
