1. Wafu Grill Asuka (和風グリル飛鳥) We start at a longstanding Hachinohe institution to try their famous Original Ginger Pork. This Western-style (Yoshoku) restaurant has been a local favorite for years, and you’ll see why as soon as that sizzling plate hits the table.

2. Miroku Yokocho (みろく横丁) – Garlic Overload Next, we head to the atmospheric Miroku Yokocho, Hachinohe’s iconic food stall village. We visited a restaurant specializing in Takko Town’s world-famous garlic. We tried everything:

Garlic Beer: (Spoiler: I wasn’t a fan, but you have to try it once!)

Whole Roasted Garlic: Served with a rich tomato sauce.

Wagyu Steak: Unbelievably tender and juicy and served with lots of crispy garlic chips.

3. Daiwa Roynet Hotel Breakfast Is this the best hotel breakfast in Japan? We dive into local Hachinohe specialties including Senbei Soup (Senbei-jiru), a fresh Mini Chirashidon (sashimi bowl), and dozens of other local delicacies that make this a must-stay spot for foodies.

4. Sichuan Home Cooking Yang (四川家庭料理 楊 八戸) We end the tour with a spicy kick at Yang. This place is famous for its authentic heat. We tackle the insanely delicious Spicy Cold Dandan Noodles and the numbing Stir-fried Chicken with Chili Peppers.
