【もう1つのキャンピングカーラリー】ラリー前後の物語

Drive 1,038km to Iwate Prefecture in 23 hours! Another camper van rally It’s a little after 11:30 on October 31st, and I’m leaving work early to head to the finish event of the camper van rally. I left Kobe and drove a little over 1,000km, or 1,038km, to the camper van rally finish point, Nishiwaga, Iwate Prefecture. The finish starts at 10am on November 1st , but will I be able to make it by morning? First, I’ll fill my stomach on the Meishin Expressway to get through the long journey. The driving time at Katsuragawa PA alone is 15 hours! I’ll refuel and do my best! (A distance that requires determination) The Shin-Meishin Expressway It’s still raining, but we ‘re making good progress on the Shin-Tomei Expressway We refueled early and drove safely It’s expensive on the highway, but there’s no other way around it We avoided the Shuto Expressway as it would be congested and took the Kitakami Chuo Expressway It’s now completely dark and time for dinner There’s still a long way to go, so we had our favorite ramen, Kuradashi Miso Menba Tadokoro Shoten, at the Dangozaka SA We’re still half way there I set off with my stomach full, but there was a traffic jam due to an accident By the time we entered Fukushima Prefecture, it was already late at night due to traffic on the Tohoku Expressway I was also tired, and I’ve really reached my limit I’ve decided to try early tomorrow and take a break Good morning I ended up falling asleep yesterday so it’s still a little after 7pm but I still have 3 hours left so I’ll refuel for the second time on the highway and then head on my way After passing Miyagi Prefecture and entering Iwate Prefecture I’ve covered 1,038km on the Akita Expressway ! : Although we were a little late, we made it to the finish line safely We met and reunited at the finish line venue, and enjoyed the Tohoku hospitality A car camping event A festival for car camping users Please check out the previous video to see what the finish line looked like We start sightseeing in Nishiwaga Town Along with sightseeing, we also proceed with the Nishiwaga Town Rally First up is a popular tourist spot in Nishiwaga Town About 5 minutes from the finish line venue Arrival About 5 minutes from the venue is “Suna Yukko” There are quite a few sand baths around here, so I thought I’d try one out Sand bath 1,200 yen Okay, let’s go ~ It’s already super hot Just lying on the sand feels quite hot The weight of the natural silica sand heated to about 60°C in the hot springs is also pleasant We steam for 15 minutes Is it always hot? 24 hours a day, or, um, the same temperature 365 days a year? Yes, it might be a little cold in winter Ah , yeah In summer if it’s too hot I open the window Ah, I see, it feels great Just before the end I cool down with a wet towel Okay, 15 minutes is up, so I’ll get up, is this all I have to do? Please brush off the sand from your chest and stomach to make it lighter before getting up , you won’t be able to get up, sand is heavier than you’d think, chest and stomach yes! I can’t get up, I still can’t get up, my wife has weak strength so she can’t get up, sand is heavy, isn’t it? How was it? It was the best , it was really good👍 Try it , after a refreshing bath, it’s time for the long-awaited lunch, let’s have lunch , apparently they have 100% buckwheat soba here “100% buckwheat soba shop Yumu Plaza” There is a bit of a queue at lunchtime, but you can be seated in about 10 minutes, Warabi Tenmaru is 100% buckwheat soba made with buckwheat flour from Nishiwaga , is it hot and delicious? Crispy, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth tempura with a new sensation. The flavors of minced fish and cheese, cheese, minced fish, and mountain vegetables spread throughout the soba, giving it a refreshing taste. Beef sukiyaki bowl (small). It seems to be a soba restaurant’s specialty. It was very delicious and I moved on to the next point . Yes, Nishiwaga Town Stamp Rally. I’ve started another stamp rally. I’ve got my first stamp. I’ve come to Kinshuko Roadside Station . I ate there earlier, and it seems Nishi Warabi is a specialty. Yes, I’ll stamp it. I got my first stamp and it was a nice stamp. I strolled around the souvenir corner. Delicious soft serve ice cream shop “Yui House” Yuda Milk Direct Sales Store Warabi mochi and soba karinto. A must-see for soft serve ice cream lovers. It ‘s very rich “Yakijidai Park”. I stamped my second stamp. “Sato no Megumi”. The third point is the direct sales store. Wow, various canned mushrooms. It seems there are a lot of mountain delicacies. Stamp rally. This is the fourth and final stop , “Kogen Fureai Sanchoku House” and I got the last stamp without a hitch . Thank you, thank you. I got various prizes at the finish line of the Nishiwaga Town Rally, and some Nishiwaga sweets. Oh, yes, thank you, thank you for your hard work. The Nishiwaga Town Stamp Rally is over. I’m not drinking today, but we’ll have a celebration here. “Waga no Shiki” Nishiwaga Town Yumoto, thank you for your hard work. “Gacchan and Muchan” you did a great job, thank you so much. Horse mackerel is my favorite, “Matsumae Pickled” Oh, it’s amazing. Let’s eat. Seriously, the food at this restaurant is the best , no no no no no, the tuna from Tsukiji is the best sushi, and it looks amazing. The best tuna muffin ! It melted, melted, melted , it was so delicious that we ordered more and it cost about 4,000 yen per person. This was the scene after the camper van rally. Thank you for watching.
