滋賀之秋 湖南三山・善水寺／Autumn in Shiga: Zensui-ji Temple, Three Mountains of Konan
自転車で善水寺まで行き、往復約52キロ走りました。
善水寺は滋賀県湖南市岩根にある天台宗の寺院です。山号は岩根山で、本尊は薬師如来です。
奈良時代の和銅年間（708〜715年）に国家鎮護の道場として創建され、伝教大師最澄によって中興されました。
当初は「和銅寺」と称されていましたが、平安時代に最澄が桓武天皇の病を癒した霊水にちなみ、「善水寺」と改められました。
国宝の本堂: 宮殿風の荘厳な本堂は国宝に指定されています。
仏像群: 本尊の薬師如来坐像をはじめ、梵天、帝釈天、四天王立像など、多くの仏像が安置されており、そのうち15体が重要文化財に指定されています。
I cycled to Zensui-ji Temple, a round trip of about 52 kilometers.
Zensui-ji Temple is a Tendai sect temple located in Iwane, Konan City, Shiga Prefecture. Its mountain name is Mount Iwane, and its principal image is Yakushi Nyorai (Medicine Buddha).
Founded during the Wadō period (708-715) of the Nara period as a training center for the protection of the nation, it was restored by Dengyo Daishi Saichō.
Originally called “Wadō-ji,” the name was changed to “Zensui-ji” in honor of the sacred spring waters Saichō used to heal Emperor Kanmu during the Heian period.
National Treasure Main Hall: The majestic, palace-style main hall is a designated National Treasure.
Buddhist Statues: The temple houses numerous Buddhist statues, including the principal image, a seated Yakushi Nyorai, as well as Brahma, Indra, and standing statues of the Four Heavenly Kings, 15 of which are designated Important Cultural Properties.

寺院建於奈良時代和銅年間（708-715年），最初是為國家鎮護的道場而設立，後來由傳教大師最澄擴建。
寺院原名“和銅寺”，後因最澄在平安時代用此聖泉水治愈桓武天皇而改名為“善水寺”。
國寶正殿：雄偉壯麗的宮殿式正殿被指定為國寶。
佛像：寺內供奉著眾多佛像，包括主尊藥師如來坐像，以及梵天、因陀羅和四大天王立像，其中15尊被指定為重要文化財產。
