Otaru is a beautiful town! Thanks for sharing!
Oh no on Satoshi's knife cut. I always make it a point to bring simple first aid stuff with me whenever I travel (e.g. bandages, antibiotic, etc). Takes up nearly no bag space and a nice relief whenever minor injuries occur. The layout of Otaru seems a little more western to me, but not entirely sure why. Maybe the building design?
Nice place to see, hope japan would open up for tourists
Kinda' sad that I wasn't able to join the premiere (I was too buzzed from Valentine's Day beer to understand what was going on LOL) but I'm happy to see that "Shinichi's Favorite" made it into the cut at around 34:17 😅 Thank you again for the great walking tour! Cheers and Take care 😊
Could you start putting subtitles for the people that are talking Japanese because I haven't a clue what they are saying 😂
Thanks for the food inspired tour through Otaru. Really nice. Neede to see Don Quixote and Seven Eleven. It has been to long.
true. was there winter 2002
Otaru truly is the most interesting and very fascinating City in all of Japan it's well known throughout it's very own culture I love it thank you so very much for the Grand Tour shinichi and Satoshi.
I love japan
Gorgeous winter wonderland ❄️☃️❄️☃️💙🤍
That Christmas music echoing in the empty market was very spooky! I liked it.
You can see tourist spots in a book but experiencing the lifestyle – the food, the people, to explore and find interesting little surprises – that’s what travelling is really about.
Satoshi always looks like he knows where he’s going, even in a strange town! My Dad was like that, because he always studied the places before we ventured out so he had a pretty good idea where to take his family. The only times he failed were when he was driving, he used to find ALL the dead ends! LOL! Consequently when I was four, he taught me to read the street directory so I could guide him. 😜👍🇦🇺 He would say, this is where we are and this is where we need to be, now you guide me, which I did. 👍😍
too bad you did not show us the glass factory/shop…
Thank you for a fun walk. The seafood looks fresh and delicious.
I ♥️Otaru! I miss Otaru! ♥️ The last time I went, I almost freeze to death. 😂🌨☃️
Thank you very much for taking us along with you visiting Otaru!
My wife and I visited Otaru in March 2015. As far as I can see in your video not many things have changed during the past 7 years.
Especially the fish market is still the same.
We enjoyed some very delicious fish bowls there and excellent sushi as well.
Hope we'll be able to visit again soon.
Maybe keep the batteries inside your coat. Keeps the battery as warm as possible.
I forgot there was a lot of snow in japan! I never thought therer was so much snow in Japon.
I get the feeling Dinka hotia or how ever you spell it is a cross between an American Walmart and a dollar store.
We were there during Christmas 6 years ago . The old school toy shop selling mask was a gem to go shopping. We were staying opp the train station. Wat beautiful memories watching this . Thank u
💖💖💖
