長野県佐久市(さくし)。
狭く荒れた峠道をひたすら進むと現れる小さな集落。
人がいなくなった消滅集落でした。
聞こえるのは清流のせせらぎと鳥のさえずりだけ。
人が作り出す音がないゴーストタウン。
今この集落にいるのは私一人だけ。
とても不思議な感覚です。
また神秘的な雰囲気を感じます。
かつては養蚕や林業で暮らしていたのでしょう。
深い山の中を生きてきた人々に感銘を受けます。
玉ねぎを干している古民家があります。
たまに親族が管理しているようです。
無人でも荒れていないのは彼らのおかげです。
集落奥には立派な山門を構える寺院があります。
そこで鹿と目が合いました。
野生動物が集落内を普通に浸食していました。
夜になれば彼らが堂々と歩き回っているでしょう。
人から動物たちの住処に変わってしまいました。
