Today, we visit a very special tree. It is known as “The Miracle Tree” —
the Harunire Tree of Toyokoro Town, standing tall on the Tokachi Plain, Hokkaido. Two trees joined together, like lovers bound by eternal love.
That’s why it’s also called “The Tree of Hope.” Estimated to be 150 years old,
it has survived countless storms and heavy rains — never falling, never separating. During the great flood of 2016, half of its trunk was submerged,
struck by drifting logs — and still, the Harunire stood firm. In its figure, people saw the power of life,
the bonds between us, and love itself. “Harunire” — in the Ainu language, it’s called *Chikisani*,
meaning “the wood we rub,” once used for fire and prayer. In an old legend, the Thunder God fell in love with the beautiful Harunire Princess,
and from their union, the ancestor of humankind — Ainu Rakkuru — was born. In spring, it blooms with tiny flowers. In summer, lush green. In autumn, colors of flame.
In winter, a coat of white snow — the changing face of life itself. Like the song “Too Beautiful Memories,”
the Harunire lives on in people’s hearts across time. Even now, it whispers in the wind —
“Let’s live without parting.” The Miracle Tree — Harunire.

Was für ein beeindruckendes Video🤗. Die „Wunderulme“ in Toyokoro ist wirklich ein faszinierendes Symbol für Hoffnung und Ausdauer. Es ist erstaunlich, wie sie trotz all der Stürme und Überschwemmungen über 150 Jahre überlebt hat. Die Aufnahmen aus der Drohne sind einfach fantastisch und sie zeigen die majestätische Baumkrone aus einer Perspektive, die man sonst nie sieht. Das fügt dem Video eine ganz besondere Dimension hinzu👍. Ein wunderschöner Moment, begleitet von einer tollen Musik.

木の周りを回りながら撮る。これいいですね。自分もすごく好きなのですが、こんなに回りが開けたところがないので、やはり北海道はいいなあ・・となります。ハルニレの木というのですね。
そうれはそうと、あまりにも懐かしい歌！ この歌聞いていたのが学生時代、昭和５３年でしたか。私、二浪してしまったので大学３年でしたが、目黒区東が丘にあった４畳の下宿でザ・ベストテンを見ていました。あのころ、八神純子はだいたい常連でした。金がなかったので、あるのはモノクロテレビでした。私は大学のそばでしたので、電車で帰る友人たちがみんな私の部屋でこれ見て帰るのですよ。全員喫煙者でしたから、たばこの煙がすごかったです。
本当に、イントロが流れただけで、懐かしさのあまり涙が出てきます。もう一度あの頃に帰りたいです。くだらん話をしてすみません。(^^♪
