「千葉県最後の秘境」と呼ばれる場所へ行ってみました
Hello. I’m currently at Chiba Station, where my journey begins today. My first train is the Uchibo Line bound for Kimitsu. As I head deeper into Chiba, the natural scenery gradually increases. I arrive at Kisarazu Station, where I transfer. Since IC cards are not accepted on the Kururi Line, I’ll purchase a ticket at the green ticket counter. I purchased three tickets, including tickets for stops along the way and for the return journey. The Kururi Line has limited service, so the number of stations I can get off at each day is limited. This time, I’ll walk to the station next to my first destination. Today, I’d like to introduce three stations on the Kururi Line. I discovered a wonderful video rental store that retains its old-fashioned atmosphere. I posted a photo of the interior of the store on X, so please take a look in the description. Now, I’m approaching my first destination. This is Gion Station on the Kururi Line. Now, I’ll head to my next destination. The Kururi Line opened in 1912. Due to ongoing financial difficulties, JR has announced plans to discontinue the line. I thought I’d head to the last stop, but it turns out the train only stops at Kururi. I decided to walk to the next station, my destination. Oku-Boso is said to be Chiba Prefecture’s last hidden gem. So, I’ll start my stroll from Kururi Station to the next station. I found a tourist information center near the station. They say they serve alcohol, so I’ll give it a try. Tastings start at 200 yen per glass. They have a wide selection. I’ll have some warm amazake. Now, I’ll resume my stroll to the next station. The next station is about 3.6 km away, a distance I can walk in about 50 minutes. Finally, I’m approaching my destination. This is Hirayama Station. I’d like to see the other side of the station, where the savory nature spreads out. This time, I’ll walk to a photo spot where I can take beautiful photos of the station. Since I’m here, I’ll head to the last stop, Kazusa-Kameyama Station. And so I arrived at my destination, Kazusa-Kameyama Station. This concludes the introduction to the Kururi Line. 秘境地の撮影って見た目以上に大変だと思います。
小湊鉄道、いすみ鉄道、久留里線は千葉県内でも秘境感溢れる路線なので良いですよね！しかも都内からも行きやすいし特に小湊鉄道は車両が個人的に最高です。

小湊鐵道に続いては、なるほど「千葉県最後の秘境」と言われるのも納得 (廃線濃厚なところですね) 。
始発駅からいきなり一区間歩くのは斬新✨
バイパスが郊外にできた街の道は寂し… いやレトロな雰囲気ですね。
途中駅止まりの列車でさらに一区間歩く、さすが健脚のウチノ先生、野山の道をサクサク進まれるのが素晴らしいです！
終点駅のライトアップも郷愁をそそられます。
動画はそこで終わっていますが、その後無事に帰られたのでしょうか。
そのエリアは便利な橋があるおかげで高速バスが強いので🚌、あっという間にワープして来られたのか🗼、あるいは木更津あたりで泊まられて🏨旅の続きがあるのか、興味深々です。
次回の旅動画も楽しみにしております😊
These rural stations have so much character! It's a shame JR is closing the line. I guess it can't be helped.
