今回の旅先は岡山県岡山市にある穴場の紅葉スポット『メタセコイヤ並木』です。
岡山市を流れる旭川沿いを上流に進んでいると山間にオレンジ色に紅葉した並木を見つけ気になり行ってみると・・。
そこには見事に紅葉したメタセコイヤ並木が！長さは多分500m程度ですが山道に突如現れるオレンジ色のトンネルは圧巻の美しさでした！メタセコイヤ並木といえば滋賀県高島市が有名ですが、ここはまだ知られていないのか車や人通りも少なくゆっくり鑑賞する事が出来る穴場スポットでした🍁✨

My destination this time was the Metasequoia Avenue, a hidden gem of a spot to see autumn leaves in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture.
As I was heading upstream along the Asahi River that flows through Okayama City, I spotted a row of trees in the mountains with orange autumn leaves, and I was intrigued, so I went to check it out…
There I found a row of Metasequoia trees with magnificent autumn leaves! It’s probably only about 500m long, but the orange tunnel that suddenly appears on the mountain road was a sight to behold! Takashima City in Shiga Prefecture is famous for its Metasequoia Avenue, but this place seems to be less well known, as there are few cars or people on the road, making it a hidden gem where you can enjoy the view at your own pace.
