⁴ᴷ Kanagawa: Tsujido Station (神奈川県: 辻堂駅) – Japan Walking Tour (December, 2025)
Walking in Tsujido, Shonan: Terrace Mall, Christmas Lights, and Family-Friendly Streets
I originally wanted to travel toward the Tohoku region, but due to concerns about bear activity, I decided to head west instead. The final destination for this trip will be Okayama Prefecture.
To start the journey slowly, I first visited Kanagawa Prefecture, stopping in Fujisawa City to walk around Tsujidō Station, a place I had received comments about before.
Right in front of the station stands Terrace Mall Shonan, a large shopping complex that brings a lively atmosphere to the area. Since it’s December, the huge Christmas tree was beautifully illuminated, featuring colors inspired by the scenery of the Shonan coast.
The area around the station is also well-developed, and perhaps because of that, there were many families with small children. The warm and lively atmosphere made for a pleasant walk.
