With a total of 238 rooms, it is one of the largest hotels in Matsushima. The views from the lobby and guest rooms are amazing♪ The hair dryer in the bath is Refa! The large public bath is switched between men and women at certain times, so you can enjoy a variety of baths. Tenkawa no Yu The indoor bath is about 25m long and is said to be the largest in Iwate. Keiryu Open-Air Bath This is also huge! And it’s open! There is also an even larger open-air bath – it’s amazing^^ Next is Hidakamino Yu This is also amazing ^^ There’s a staircase right in the middle 😳 The main indoor bath (currently being cleaned) is further back… and there’s even a bath below ^^ There’s a semi-open-air bath and a large ceramic bath called “Nuruyu”. You can also enjoy loyly in the “Cave Sauna” newly built in 2023 ♪ There are three private baths (all for a fee). The Golden Bath is an indoor and outdoor bath! The Ceramic Bath is an outdoor bath made of Shigaraki-yaki ceramics , and the Hiba Bath is a luxurious bath made entirely of Aomori cypress . Now, it’s time to enjoy the dinner buffet. The venue is Hikari no Mori! The “paintings” in the corridors and venue are very beautiful♪ After passing through the dark forest, there was a huge restaurant (from the official website) . Buffet restaurant “Hikari no Mori” “Hikari no Mori” is a venue dedicated to buffets that was newly opened in 2020. The concept is entertainment x buffet . The decorations are amazing, making it seem like you’re in the middle of a forest. The venue is very spacious and child-friendly, and as Hotel Shidohira is known, there is also a well-equipped kids’ corner👍Hikari no Mori MAPNow , take a good look at Tohoku’s No. 1 buffet♪ The first thing that catches your eye is crab! This is luxurious (^^♪ Homemade tofu and dashi soy sauce salad corner Halloween style lettuce, cucumber, onion, carrot, corn, wood ear mushroom, cherry tomatoes, pickled eggplant and lots of dressings! Sushi corner On the right are rolls, and on the left are nigiri – inari sushi , kappa rolls, kanpyo rolls, eggplant sushi , natto rolls, grilled salmon, whitebait, rice Everyone loves it! Isn’t this amazing? 😍 Soft almond jelly, rare cheesecake, tiramisu pudding , coffee jelly , strawberry panna cotta , grape jelly, konjac mochi, fruit corner : mango, apple compote, grapes, pineapple, yogurt, and even a chocolate fountain! 😍 They also had heart marshmallows and bread! Mont Blanc ice cream is only available for a limited time! (I missed the photo! 😭) Ice cream: strawberry, black sesame, vanilla, chocolate. There was also a wagon service for children! ♪ Free soft drink corner: sodas, coffee, tea, etc. Alcohol counter : all-you -can-drink here: chuhai, whiskey, sake, etc. Choose according to your preference (^^♪ During the limited time when chuhai and draft beer are served, the head chef’s roast beef is served (one plate per person). The number of dishes, the presentation, and the food were all amazing 👍 In the morning, Hikari no Mori also has a buffet buffet! You can enjoy piping hot dishes from the simmered food section ♪ Taro , stewed minced chicken, Chikuzen stew, deep-fried eggplant, meat, potatoes, simmered pumpkin, Western food section , potatoes, cherry tomatoes Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages , and crab shumai served hot in a steamer 😍 There was a live kitchen in the morning too. First up was an omelette. Up to this point it was just a normal live performance, but then they started working on something… it was so cute!😍 And then there was omuhayashi?! Surprise!! It’s a real beehive🐝😳 The jam looks delicious too♪ (strawberry, apple, blueberry) , butter and orange marmalade, morning dessert corner Donut special (^^♪ Chocolate donuts, soy milk donuts , strawberry donuts, matcha donuts. The soft drink corner is the same as in the evening. Ice cream is nice in the morning♪ Strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, sesame . A drink corner with a nice appearance. I’ve piled it up~😍 It makes me happy in the morning♪ The number of ingredients, quality, and liveliness are all perfect, It was truly the No. 1 buffet in Tohoku. What did you think of this feature on Tohoku buffet accommodations? Finally, my recommendation is to “enter at the start time”! いつも楽しみに拝見させて頂いてます。
ご飯はバイキング派なのですが、色々お宿の特色が出て動画のように食べるだけでなく見て楽しんでもいます。笑
バイキングとは似て非なるコンセプトですが、一の坊グループの作並一の坊、ゆと森倶楽部も動画参考にさせていただき伺ったのですが、とても良い食事やサービス内容でした!
その時々に拝見しましたが、圧巻ですね~😊
全部いただけるお腹があったら幸せでしょうね。無理だけど。
お刺身やステーキはもちろん嬉しいですが、個人的にはカレーがあるとご機嫌になります❤

Thank you for the recap and your rankings! I definitely agree with hotel Juraku as I did stayed there after seeing your video this April when I visited Fukushima for sakura! The live station steak there was my favourite and the morning hand made onigiri was good too.

Hier passt mal wieder alles, Essen, Übernachtung und natürlich der gesamte Rahmen. Da wird man als Deutscher schon etwas neidisch.Das Essen in Japan ist schon etwas besonderes, zumal immer natürlich und nicht Industriell. Ich selbst bin ein Fan der Japanischen Küche, auch wenn es mir immer etwas exotisch erscheint, ist es sehr lecker. Hallelujah, Du stellst uns wieder tolle Sachen vor.

北東北はいかがでしょう?弘前近郊のホテルアップルランド、とにかく美味しいしウェルカムドリンクも食事の時のドリンクも飲み放題。シードルやリンゴジュースも飲み比べができて料理も美味しいです。バイキングは苦手であまり食べられないのですぐに終了するのですが、あそこだけはずっとあと1回、もうちょっと食べてからと粘って食べていられました(笑)
