【Hokkaido】倶知安ニセコ 食べ飲み旅/道の駅巡り/ルスツコテージ泊

NISEKO・RUSUTSUThank you for always watching! Please subscribe and like our channel! Three girls’ Niseko trip begins! A perfect day for an outing! This is where we’re heading to Niseko. The tourist areas around Niseko, including Kutchan, Rankoshi-Makkari, and Kyogoku, are in the tourist zone. It’s Hokkaido, but it’s expensive and full of foreigners, so people say it’s not Japan. However, the off-season is a great place to enjoy cheap things! Those who come for the powder snow are different, but we don’t do any winter sports, so we’re going to have a good time.
The closest ski resort is Hirafu Station. They say that in the autumn foliage season before the snow falls, you can enjoy the flavors of autumn and hot springs. But the weather’s looking ominous . It’s been years since I’ve been to Nakayama Pass. I’m seeing a flurry of snow on the snowy roads . I wonder if it’ll be okay? But since I’m here, I want to eat some fried sweet potatoes ! Once inside, there was a huge line. The wait seemed long, both for buying and receiving tickets. I reluctantly gave up after looking at the souvenirs and decided to move on. The autumn leaves were beautiful and I enjoyed the great outdoors. I was glad the weather had cleared up too. My next stop was Gono Station. A long, narrow building with a relaxing atmosphere . 580 yen for 7 kilos. The surreal picture was also nice! I heard that Kitakamui was delicious, so I bought some. They also have a variety of sweet potatoes. This recipe is absolutely delicious . My 2 kilos of sweet potatoes are too big (lol). The sticky, sweet Unrequited Love Pumpkin is a little scary (lol). The unique vegetables are introduced in a fun and humorous way, and I can feel their good taste and love. ♡ Having enjoyed looking at the vegetables, I got a little hungry… I bought a ticket! I pulled myself together when I got back and it was fine this time! Please laugh! ♪ There were still a few varieties of Danshaku Croquettes in the morning . I bought both croquettes and vegetables and was very satisfied. The color is a beautiful green!! Could this be Mt. Yotei?! Abundant nature ~ We’re almost at our lunch spot! There’s a row of cool cars! The view from the top of the hill is amazing! Looking across , we see a single building standing alone on the vast land of Mt. Yotei and Makkari Village . It’s a stylish and perfect location! Pomme, a restaurant on a hill, sells red radishes. It seems like it’s run by a single person, so it takes a while for the food to be served. We wait patiently. Water is self-service. You can ride the swings. The cat on the field runway walks with grace and dignity. Tomato pizza 1,300 yen . Botchan pumpkin vegetable plate 1,500 yen. Chicken curry 1,500 yen . Everything is delicious ! The view, atmosphere, and food are all great!! This curry has an authentic flavor and is delicious with a nice spice!! It seems they use vegetables from Makkari Village, so it’s nice to be able to eat local produce. It was so delicious! I was full! The mountain that appeared before my eyes was amazing! We saw a huge shrine, so we made a detour to Makkari Shrine. It’s a cute mountain path that looks like it came out of a picture book. There were lots of chestnuts on the ground, but they were all empty . Who ate them? Kutchan Station. There’s a sweets shop right next to Kutchan Station called Okashi no Fujii. We came in the evening, so there were only a few left , and they had some cute baked goods. We also bought some happy pudding. After soaking in the Makkari hot springs, we headed to our cottage, Sakura Chalet, which is absolutely wonderful. Room tour START: I want to live here! 1. Bedroom: Spacious! Barrier-free. Bathroom: Glass-walled bath. 2nd floor . 2. Bedroom : Shower room: Clean bed and towels.
3. Bedroom: Shower room: Cute and spacious bathroom, all in white. Bathroom and toilet: Like a foreign country. We were so excited by this wonderful space! First, let’s quench our thirst . We were in a good mood up until this point, but… After 30 minutes, we couldn’t get the barbecue going, and we finally managed to get it started. We were shivering from the cold and bears, but we were hungry, so we kept grilling. It looked pretty good, didn’t it? This saury was so delicious! The scallops, drizzled with soy sauce, were absolutely delicious! ! I forgot to take a picture of the meat, but I was also excited about the girly thing called cheese fondue. It’s cold but fun – I mixed the cheese and wine together and luxuriously coated it with plenty of cheese . I wonder what I can make next? The squid looks so delicious, and eating it with ginger and soy sauce is sure to be delicious . The salmon roe bowl for finishing off was the winner . The view from the room was great, and it was a wonderful morning. I went out to the terrace and basked in the morning sun. It was cold but pleasant, so I had a light breakfast and the sweets I bought yesterday . It was time to leave . Thank you for your help! Roadside Station 230 Rusutsu. Huge Chinese cabbage and lots of cabbage!! I tried the Fuyukoma cabbage , it was chewy, sweet and delicious , so I bought one! What is the image of the pioneering mother? I thought, ” Is she the mother of the girl in the nursery rhyme “Red Shoes?” I never thought that song would have anything to do with Hokkaido. The mother left her young daughter with American missionaries to start pioneering in Rusutsu village. She lived her whole life believing that her daughter had gone to America, but she became ill and ended up in an orphanage at the age of 9. It’s a sad story. Today, too, there’s snow piled up on the mountains obscured by clouds . I happened to come across a store that was super cheap (lol). Later, an old man came and we chatted for a while (lol). He gave me some extras because I’d come out in such cold weather (^^) . The apples and melon were super sweet and delicious! I’d like to go again next year . Thank you, old man. The water here is delicious. Everyone fills their plastic containers with water. I’ll also fill my tumbler. Makkari Tofu Workshop. I heard that their warabi mochi is popular, so I’ll buy some. The okara donuts are also said to be delicious, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any on this day. I need to buy some tofu made with this delicious water to take home. Good luck with the tofu scooping . Oh, it got away! It looks like it’s still alive ! I caught it! Next to the register they were selling croquettes and “amazing large fried tofu” which I thought was definitely delicious! When I bought it, they had just fried it when I went to pay, so they exchanged it for “eat it fresh.” What a godly service ! When I showed it to the two girls and said, “I bought it!” they were a little mocking the fried food and said, “What? You bought it?” (lol) But they were amazed by how delicious it was, and when I poured bonito flakes and sauce on it, they couldn’t stop eating it! It’s not
my victory , it’s the tofu factory’s victory! If you go to Makkari Tofu Factory, you should definitely try the “amazing large fried tofu.” You might be hesitant about the size, but it was so easy to finish. There are condominiums lined up. What is this shape? There are a lot of shops around here. The recommended coffee shop was closed. The yellow bridge is cute. Pumpkins are lined up in various places on the road. Niseko View Plaza Roadside Station. I also bought broccoli here! There are a variety of smoothies and hot snacks. They also sell Niseko cheese tarts and soft serve ice cream . I bought some potato mochi. I saw on Instagram that Jagaholic ‘s Belgian-style dipped potatoes are delicious , but this place is also closed. We all munched on some potato mochi . Another place that caught my eye was Ex-Factory, a direct sales store of Lupicia Gourmand, located on the same premises. There was a Lupicia vending machine, and it seemed like you could buy things at the direct sales price, so it was a good deal. You could also sample Lupicia tea and financiers, which was fun. They also had bento boxes, side dishes, and soup. I was curious about the Yukgaejang soup, so I bought some homemade udon . Gokoro’s last udon order for lunch was 1:30 PM , and I made it just in time. I ordered the Yama Bukkake for 950 yen. I had always imagined bukkake udon to be cold, but I decided to try the “warm” bukkake for the first time. They use eggs from Ishikawa Poultry Farm and nagaimo (Japanese yam) from Tada Farm, which I really like. The crispy potatoes on the side are from their own farm, and it’s quite filling . Let’s eat! Apparently , it’s authentic Shikoku-style udon. Apparently, since it’s attached to a lodging called “Ginrei,” they only open 2-3 days a week and close when they run out of noodles . It’s best to check their business hours calendar before coming. The crispy potatoes were also delicious. I enjoyed this with the udon. Mount Yotei and Niseko Annupuri can be seen from inside the restaurant. Thank you for the meal! After lunch, it was tea time. ICOR NISEKO. It’s amazing how beautiful the flowers are in bloom even though it’s so cold it snows. It would be even more beautiful in spring or summer. The curving road leading to the restaurant is also lovely . They also sell cosmetics and sweets. I wonder if there’s a space extending to the back of the long, narrow, hallway-like restaurant ? I continued walking, thinking, and it was this width all the way . ← I’ll stop here. Amber Latte (770 yen ) . It’s a hot medicinal drink made with white wood ear mushrooms, peach sap, Job’s tears, longan, and jujube. I had it hot and it was delicious . I heard you can go down to the river, so I went out. It certainly looks doable, but it’s too cold, so I’d like to come back when it’s warmer . On the way, the sun suddenly cleared up and there was a rainbow! (I couldn’t take a picture, though.) The Akaigawa Roadside Station, with
its mysterious high-pitched singing voice and J-pop music , felt kind of scary… (sorry.) The roadside station was quiet near closing time, and the food court-like area had already taken orders for everything except drinks and ice cream . Let’s have some ice cream. I was looking at the menu to see what I’d get, and I saw pantyhose?! Stockings not included . Pumpkin and strawberry. I chose pumpkin soft serve instead of pantyhose. The most popular was 400 yen. Akaigawa Gelato closed at 4:30 PM. The Kenashiyama Observatory was so beautiful! This trip with three women was a very fulfilling two days of eating, drinking, and laughing ! I was looking forward to buying some warabi mochi, but it all stuck together (lol). I noticed it was gone before I knew it. I also used some vegetables I bought. I tried some and it was delicious. I kneaded a big cabbage and spread it in a frying pan and put wonton skins on top. I made some lazy dumplings without wrapping them. It was a pain to wrap them , but the taste was the same even without wrapping them, so I enjoyed them! Niseko is fun even when it’s not winter . Thank you for watching.
