【愛媛】海と線路が織りなす奇跡の景色✨伊予の「大人気のロケ地」に行ってみた✨[日本の夕陽百選]
Hello everyone. This time, I’m going to Iyo in Ehime Prefecture. Apparently, Iyo is home to some famous filming locations from movies and TV dramas. I arrived at Matsuyama Airport. I’m looking forward to it. It’s so cute! They have a mandarin orange mascot. Speaking of Ehime, mandarins are the first thing that comes to mind. Apparently, you can drink mandarin orange juice here. Wow! A mandarin orange juice tower! Flowing mandarin orange juice! What? Flowing mandarin orange juice? It wasn’t real mandarin orange juice. I’m going to rent a car now. Iyo is located south of Matsuyama Airport. It’s about a 25-minute drive. I visited Futami Seaside Park. This is my first time visiting Ehime’s beach. It was renovated on May 28, 2021. The weather is beautiful today. Is this white sand artificial? Apparently, it’s an artificial beach. The white sand is beautiful. Cape Lover’s Point is visible in the center. I’d like to get closer. There’s a monument. I can see many islands (in the distance). Wow! A red dragonfly in the sunset glows♪♪ A red dragonfly (on my finger) lands. I bet you can see the sunset through this hole. I’d like to come here in the evening too. Apparently, the setting sun enters the hole on the vernal and autumnal equinoxes. Iyo City and Futami Town are also known nationwide for their beautiful sunsets, having been selected as one of the “Top 100 Sunsets in Japan.” The direction of the sunset is written on the sign. I’d like to get closer. Wow, it’s so clear! So beautiful! Ah, I want to soak in the ocean. It was early October this day. The temperature felt like early summer. The ripples are beautiful. Just looking at the water’s surface is soothing. There are places to eat, too. Let’s go later. The sun is very strong. The Seto Inland Sea is calm. Because it is an inland sea, it is not affected by swells from the open ocean. Apparently, this is because there are many islands and reefs that act as obstacles, absorbing the waves. Here is the “Lovers’ Point” photo spot. This is a Moai statue. There are three Moai statues in total. Now, let’s have lunch. I’d like to try this restaurant. It looks like we can enjoy lunch while looking at the ocean view. There was a terrace. Lunch with this view would be great! I ordered the daily lunch special. Today’s menu is “Chicken Nanban” and “Simmered Red Sea Bream Heads” from the Seto Inland Sea. I’ll also have pumpkin soup I love pumpkin, so I’ll start with the “Pumpkin Soup.” Oh, it’s delicious. It’s sweet pumpkin soup. Next is “Simmered Red Sea Bream Heads” from the Seto Inland Sea. The broth is clear. Oh, the seasoning is just right, and it’s delicious. This is “Chicken Nanban.” Wow, is this meat? It’s huge. I’m very satisfied with both meat and fish. Thank you for the meal. Looking at this ocean makes me feel gentle. It’s a very calm ocean, and it feels so good. Everyone (in the gallery) is watching. Next, I’d like to go to Shimonada, a famous filming location. Shimonada Station is known as the station closest to the sea in Japan, and is also famous as a filming location for sunset shots, movies, and commercials. I’ve arrived at Shimonada Station. There’s free parking nearby. Shimonada Station is unmanned. I’ve arrived at Shimonada Station. The sea is so close! It’s a very photogenic station. If you take a photo from too close, you can see the road, so it’s best to take it from a transparent spot. There’s grass growing on the tracks. It’s untouched. 松山空港から車で約25分「道の駅ふたみ・シーサイド公園」令和3年5月28日にリニューアルオープンし、連日たくさんの観光客でにぎわっています。白い砂浜に海と空の青が織りなすコントラストが美しい、絶景が目の前に広がります。「日本の夕陽百選」に選ばれている、「しずむ夕日が立ちどまるまち」と言われています。
