【京急EXホテルみなとみらい横浜】富士山も望める露天風呂もある大浴場が魅力のリーズナブルなホテル【神奈川/横浜/ホテル紹介/ホテル宿泊記】

Thank you for watching. This is Yusuke’s Travel! We’ll start from Shin-Takashima Station on the Minatomirai Line. Watch this video all the way through to discover the charm of the Keikyu EX Hotel Minatomirai Yokohama. Feel free to enjoy it while you work. Exit 4 is the closest, so let’s head that way. This channel introduces hotels offering great value for money, as well as slightly more luxurious options. If you enjoy domestic travel and hotel stays, please subscribe! Yokohama Symphostage, a complex facility completed in March 2024. It houses medical facilities, restaurants, shops, offices, and more. Looks like we’ll take this escalator up. The official website also has clear directions to the hotel entrance, so please check that out too. This space is an area called Grand Mall Plaza. Walk through this area with Yamaha on your right. Keikyu EX Hotel Minatomirai Yokohama, opened in June 2024 and operated by Keikyu EX Inn. I’ll be staying here for one night! Let’s head inside the building right away. Passing through the vestibule, the hotel’s logo was projected onto the floor. The hotel lobby is on the 26th floor, so let’s take the elevator up. Exit the elevator and head left to find the reception and lobby. Let’s check in right away. Proceed at the self-check-in kiosk. Got my card key and a ticket with my room number! Looks like I grab amenities from the amenity corner. Welcome drink: coffee. Three coffee drinks – that’s great! I also picked up the amenities… The guest-only area is secured, so you can feel safe during your stay. This is the lobby-level elevator to the guest floors. It’s nice that you can see the view. This time, I got a room on the 27th floor. The elevator doors open… This is the guest floor elevator lobby. Like the lobby floor, it features large windows. The guest floor hallway. The walls are pale, making it feel spacious. Room 2704, assigned to us this time. This is a Standard Double B room. Let’s swipe the card key and enter! Insert the card key into the card pocket right inside the door, and the room tour begins! We’re inside the room. I really like this simple, clean vibe. Here’s the location of this room and the evacuation route. DD cards and cleaning cards are also here. Now, inside. This is the Standard Double B, a 17.9㎡ room. The view…? The Standard Double B guarantees a view of the Minato Mirai area! We could just barely see Mount Fuji too. Yokohama Landmark Tower is also directly in front. The bed is a queen size at 160cm wide, so it comfortably accommodates two adults. This item placed on the bed. This hotel actually has a large communal bath! Take towels from your room in this carry bag. The nightwear is a two-piece set. The slippers are unexpectedly fluffy. The customary bed check. Sheets, bed pads, and so on… The mattress was a Thomas-Symonds Beautyrest. The pendant light is stylish, isn’t it? Around the bed. The headboard has a light switch, power outlet, and USB charging port. A table clock. Two types of pillows. This is actually something we’re particular about. This pocket coil pillow is actually made by Thomas-Symonds! This pillow is also made by Thomas-Symonds, but it’s a different type. Amazing! The opposite side of the headboard looks the same. Let’s take a look at this side by the window. The cushions look like they’d be perfect for stretching out your legs or lounging around. A safety deposit box was installed here. Let’s also look at the table top. This was the complimentary bottled water provided from the start. Here’s the card key. Simple design. These are the items received at check-in. First, the breakfast voucher. I’ll show you later! Information sheet about the guest room and amenities. A sheet with information about the hotel facilities. The amenities I brought. It’s really appreciated that they include skincare items. Now, let’s take a look at this area around the TV. At the foot of the bed, a Daikin humidifying air purifier. On this shelf… Writing utensils. Accessory tray. This is a folding stand mirror. This brown folder contains facility guides and such. The laundry service price list too. Surprisingly useful when read, a disaster prevention guide was also included. On this shelf… Tissues, glasses, and a QR code for Keikyu EX Members information. I kind of wish they’d beef up the perks a bit more… A ceramic cup and a Tiger electric kettle. Trash can at your feet. Turn on the TV, and the hotel menu appears. Wi-Fi connection details are also displayed here. Wi-Fi speed is decent: download at 64Mbps, upload at 124Mbps. You can also check the crowd status of the large bath via the TV. You can also check the availability of the coin laundry on the 26th floor. As it’s a Smart TV, you can watch YouTube and various other video streaming services. We’re back near the room entrance. Let’s check this out. The closet is an open type. It’s a clever way to make the space look larger. The disinfectant and deodorizing spray is Shimizu Kaori. Plenty of hangers too. Shoe horns, brushes, etc. Luggage rack. Right after entering the room, you’ll find a full-length mirror on the right. Don’t miss the robe hook either. Next to the full-length mirror is the sanitary space. Check out the sink. The only amenities provided are a body towel and a toothbrush set. A cup. On the clean sink sits Kose’s N&CO Face & Hand Soap. Note: This water is also suitable for drinking. Under the sink are towels, a bath mat, a trash can, etc. A Panasonic Ionity hair dryer was provided. This door on the side of the sink unit hides a refrigerator. It doesn’t have a freezer compartment, and it was empty inside. Opening this sliding door directly opposite the sink revealed the toilet. Surprisingly, it’s an automatic opening/closing type! Hello! A TOTO Washlet, a wall-mounted remote control, and a two-roll toilet paper holder. Behind this door at the back of the sink area was a shower booth. This room only has the shower booth. The shower featured only a handheld showerhead, with a LIXIL faucet. The bath amenities were SHOLAYERED’s Fresh Pear scent. It smells great! When using the shower, please make sure to close the door properly first. Let’s take a look at another room. This is the Standard Double A. Looks like it has a bathtub. Moderate Double. This one doesn’t have a bathtub. Superior Double. Is this the only room guaranteed to have a bathtub? And the Standard Twin. Moderate Twin. Unlike the Double, this one comes with a bathtub. Superior Twin A. A seems to have the view facing Yokohama Station. And the Superior Twin B on the Landmark Tower side. A four-person room with three beds. We also offer barrier-free universal twin rooms. That concludes our room tour. We’ve arrived at ‘Fuku Private Kitchen’, located about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This is the inside of the restaurant. It’s quite spacious, has private rooms, and seats about 80 people. They had a lunch menu too. Hmm, what should I get? This was the soy sauce ramen, I think. It comes with a small side dish and almond jelly for dessert. This is the black vinegar sweet and sour pork lunch set. It also comes with rice and soup. It was delicious and relatively affordable, so definitely consider it as one of your options. Next, we’ll introduce the hotel’s facilities. First up is the reception counter on the hotel’s 26th floor. There are two self-check-in kiosks. Depending on the check-in time, they can get quite crowded. There were also tourist information maps for the hotel and the Minato Mirai area. Directly in front is the lobby & lounge area. It has a sufficient number of seats. The coffee server for welcome drinks. Amenity Corner. Skincare sets, tea, hairbrushes, T-shaped razors, and more. Please bring any items you need. There’s also a smoking area in front of the restaurant on the lobby level. This is the inside of the smoking area. At a glance, it looks like it can hold about 4 to 5 people? A multipurpose restroom is also available. To enter the guest-only area, you need to swipe your card key. Here you’ll find the large bath area and more. First, let’s check out this laundry room. Three drum-type machines with drying functions. An ironing board and iron are also available here. The wash and dry set costs 600 yen for 120 minutes. There’s also a bench right in front of the washing machine, so you can sit and wait until it finishes. Let’s head out of the laundry room and go further inside. This is the post-bath relaxation area. It seems like a nice spot to wait for someone while enjoying the view. A circular sofa sits in the center of the space. There was also a TV. And this chair even has an ottoman! Check out the vending machine corner. Vending machines for water, alcohol, and snacks. Here it is, Doreimon! Curry cutlet rice and grilled beef bowl look delicious! And we’ve arrived at the large bath. This is the hotel’s main selling point! Stepping through the noren curtain… It’s the type where you swipe a card key. Let me show you with photos. First, the men’s changing room for the large bath. Four sinks help avoid crowding! The indoor bath area. While there aren’t many washing stations, the screens are a thoughtful touch. And then there’s the open-air bath. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji. And here is the changing room for the women’s large bath. Looks like a women’s dressing room. Here’s the indoor bath. It doesn’t seem much different from the men’s one. The open-air baths are the same. The women’s bath also offers a view of Mount Fuji. There’s also a vending machine area on the guest room floor. Soft drinks are here. There’s also an ice machine. A microwave oven is also provided. A trouser press was also here. We’ve arrived on the first floor. Here is the hotel’s car drop-off area. Note that the parking lot has a separate entrance, so this is strictly for luggage and passenger drop-offs. This drop-off area is quite spacious. If you’re arriving by car, you can use the Yokohama Sympho Stage parking lot for ¥2,000 per night. It’s time for dinner, so I stepped outside. As Christmas approaches, the illuminations start. Somehow, when the illuminations start, I get all excited. Grand Central Terrace, located roughly halfway between the hotel and Minatomirai Station. We’ve arrived at ‘GOHANYA’ GOHAN’ on the first floor. It seems to be a restaurant specializing in rice. It’s about a 7-minute walk from the hotel, so it’s quite accessible. We’re inside now. By the way, this restaurant is run by Mitsuhashi, famous for Mitsuhashi Rice. So, rice is their specialty! I ordered the Grilled Silver Salmon San-Go-Hachi Pickle Set. Plus two extra pieces of karaage! The salted koji-marinated grilled salmon was incredibly delicious. Two seasonal side dishes too. These fried chicken pieces are delicious too! We also have miso soup. You can choose between white rice or brown rice. I went with brown rice! With my stomach satisfied, I made my way back to Yokohama Sympho Stage. They’ve got illuminations here too! It’s winter and getting chilly, so let’s hurry back to our room. The night view is amazing too. Time to get some sleep and prepare for tomorrow’s breakfast…! Good morning! The morning has arrived! Let’s head to the restaurant on the hotel’s 26th floor. I wonder what breakfast will be like… I’m excited! This is the hotel’s restaurant, ‘Koyouji’. By the way, they also serve lunch and dinner. The buffet menu was also displayed. Hand over your breakfast voucher at the front desk, and they’ll show you to your seat. This is our table. Now, let’s go get some food! First, let’s check out this counter. This is tea. Hot coffee, hot water. Ice. Water, apple juice, yuzu honey vinegar, iced coffee. Marmalade, strawberry jam, margarine. Belgian waffles, petit pains, croissants, sliced bread. Banana, pineapple, mango. Yogurt, honey. Sauce for yogurt. Fruit granola, milk. Squid tempura, chicken and lotus root tempura, simmered chicken and ganmo. Vinegared shredded dried daikon radish, konjac simmered in Tosa-style broth. Yuba and mushroom salad, kinpira burdock root. Grated daikon radish. Tamagoyaki. Cod with sweet and sour sauce. Japanese-style hamburger steak with grated daikon radish. Chicken curry from a soba restaurant. Bacon. Scrambled eggs. Sausage. Plain rice, dashi broth for ochazuke, miso soup. We also have many toppings for rice and ochazuke. Natto, soft tofu. Shredded nori, salted kombu, shredded omelet. Raw egg, soy sauce. Salad corner. Seaweed-flavored potato salad. Steamed chicken and vegetable sesame mayo salad. Three types of salad dressing. I couldn’t resist and ended up bringing almost everything! Side dishes always seem to be mostly brown, don’t they? Or is it just me? Of course, I got miso soup and natto, but I also got curry and salad! When you’re done eating, flip this over at your seat before leaving. Thank you for the meal! It’s bittersweet, but it’s time to check out. How did you like the Keikyu EX Hotel Minatomirai Yokohama? While it’s a bit of a walk, you can still reach it on foot from Yokohama Station. If you come by train, it’s just one stop away and easily accessible from the station, making it the perfect base for exploring Yokohama. It features a large bath with great views, and nearby attractions like the Anpanman Museum and K-ARENA make it super convenient for visiting each! Now, for the price you’ve been waiting for…! Booked through Yahoo! Travel for a Sunday stay, two people for one night with breakfast included: ¥42,570. That’s ¥21,285 per person. This price includes the immediate use of 430 points. Thank you so much for watching until the end! I hope this was helpful in choosing a hotel or gave you a little taste of what it’s like to stay there. We hope you’ll watch our next video too! This has been Yusuke’s Travel! I hope this helps you in choosing your hotel. Subscribing to the channel, giving a thumbs up, turning on notifications, and sharing with friends and family would be a huge encouragement! I’ll continue introducing hotels with great value, hot spring inns, and slightly more luxurious hotels around ¥30,000 per person per night including one meal… Please look forward to the next episode! ☻ Yusuke’s Travel
