長崎 静かに輝く世界新三大夜景 美術館とペンギン、Cafeと雑貨
A morning at the port, where autumn colors linger and winter quietly begins to arrive. The Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum bathed in morning light. Designed by Kengo Kuma, it is a quiet architecture that harmonizes with nature. The museum stands as if embracing the wind and light from the waterside. With each step closer, its delicate beauty becomes more visible. A place where you want to spend time slowly, surrounded by a calm atmosphere. Up on the second floor, the light spreads softly. In this quiet transition, the expressions of light subtly change. On the first floor, the museum shop offers a tranquil flow of time. A moment wrapped in light and serenity. Soft gradients created by nature. Taking a breather at a café blending into Mizube no Mori. A peaceful lunch amidst the waterside forest. Thank you for the meal. A serene world woven from light, water, and greenery — Mizube no Mori Park, Nagasaki. In the gentle flow, each moment intersects with the next. The park stretches out with the slow rhythm of nature. Grateful for this beautifully arranged park. We’ve arrived at the Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium. Penguins swimming leisurely in the water are truly soothing. Penguins walking as if straight out of a painting. Out of the 18 penguin species on Earth, 9 species,
about 170 birds are kept here. More than 70% of them were born here in Nagasaki. You can see these unique penguins all in one place. We found peace in the world of penguins. The path once walked by samurai of the late Edo period. A nostalgic streetscape. Nagasaki specialty shop “Tatematsuru,” exuding a charming old-world atmosphere. Designs blending history and culture in Nagasaki. They even imported Chinese doors into the Japanese-style architecture. Church chairs, a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese styles — a unique space.
This is also part of Nagasaki’s charm. Design inspired by early Edo-period Nagasaki. Subtle humor in towels themed after different eras. Goods reflecting the atmosphere of Nagasaki city. A space we stumbled upon, blending history with playfulness. Cafe Hirai, just a short walk away — my first visit here as well. The dim lighting creates a quietly relaxing atmosphere. It feels cherished by the locals. The master carefully prepares a Viennese coffee. Even on a first visit, the gentle service made me feel at ease. Heading to Inasayama Observatory. Boarding the slope car, ascending to the top of Inasayama. From here, you can see Nagasaki’s night view, selected as one of the World’s New Three Major Night Views in 2021. A dreamy scene tinged with a hint of purple unfolds. At the summit, a romantic view of Nagasaki city stretches out. “The World’s New Three Major Night Views” — a million-dollar nightscape. Skipping over autumn, winter days pass by in a flash.
At such times, this view is a moment to pause. Wishing you a pleasant time.
