【大阪・西成】怖い?でも面白い!女ひとりでディープ商店街&純喫茶巡り☕️
Hello. This is me. A solo female Osaka trip. This is the fourth and final installment. This time, I’m walking around Nishinari from the morning, bringing you the good old Osaka scenery of cafes, retro shopping streets, and battleships. Last time, I stayed at Hotel BER, a member’s lodging in Nishinari, and went out drinking. If you’re interested, please check out the previous video. The main part starts after checking out. There seem to be a lot of people gathered. I head to a place that seems to serve breakfast, but there’s a huge crowd gathered at a place with a sign that says “Speech Bubble.” It’s really lively, and I’ve never seen it in Konocho. Oh, they ‘re closed. They’re closed. Tachibana Shokudo is also closed. I wanted to have breakfast at Tachibana Shokudo, but I had breakfast at Imashiro Kia. I was told I could only take photos and not take videos , but the owner has great kanji and the owner is a really nice person. Now, since I’ve lived in Harago, I’m walking around Osaka’s retro shopping streets. Haginojiya Hondori Shopping Street is an arcade shopping street that runs from Ima Station on the Hankai Line to Haginojiya Station on the Nankai Dentetsu Line . Haginoya is named after a teahouse called Haginochaya that used to be in the area. There’s a place that looks like a furuya. I like those kinds of places that look like they’re from a furuya, so I thought I’d take a look. It looks like a furuya. They sell CDs and DVDs, of course. Oh, they sell microwaves, too. Wait a sec. They’re selling them in induction cooktops. Oh, so cute. It’s a pocket watch. It looks like a fight just broke out. This way leads to the north entrance of Hanazono. Wow, I’ve found a place with a great atmosphere . Oh, a sushi restaurant. It’s called Ikitsuki. Oh, so nice. A sushi restaurant. What a great atmosphere. What should I do? I’ve just arrived at a T-zone. Over here, there’s a cafe called Frank . And if you go this way, there’s a dango shop there . Wait a sec. The temptation is strong. Three-colored dango for 60 yen each. Excuse me. I’d like one mezashi dango, please. Yes. They have soy sauce flavor and white syrup. What’s white syrup? This one has green laver. It’s right here. 60 yen. Yes. I just bought a stick of handmade mitarashi dango for 60 yen. Let’s eat . Amazing. They’re a little small, so they’re just right. They’re great for eating on the go. Super soft. Super soft . Wow, wow. They just melt in your mouth. So delicious . So delicious. I wish they were like this. The inside. The kind they sell at supermarkets . I want to lick the leftover sauce too. Good work. I like you. Yes. I just went to Hakuba. It’s amazing. The mom and dad were both amazing, and at the end the dad asked me if I wanted a high-five and gave me one. It was a really nice shop . It seems there’s also a slightly retro shopping street called Tsuruhashi Shopping Arcade over here , so I think I’ll take a stroll there too since I’ve come all this way before heading back . The takoyaki are super flashy. It really does have that lively Osaka vibe. There seem to be a lot of bicycles, after all. Some people are riding and walking here, but it seems like there are more bicycles. Apparently the cute collars on the Konpira udon here are cute. Konpira means it must be Kagawa. It’s so comforting to see it at Super Tama. Ta-da! I bought this sakoshi I had my eye on at Super Tama. Cute. They didn’t have my size, so I gave up. I often see it in Kansai , but it seems like all the mothers in Kansai have some kind of attachment to their bicycles to hold their umbrellas. Lots of people are wearing them. I don’t see that in Kanto, so maybe it’s a Kansai culture. Right now, I was walking along the map with my headphones on, and I accidentally jumped into a storm . The moment I entered, the atmosphere of the shop changed, and an old man nearby said, “This is Tobita, right?” I asked him about the location, and just in case , I put all my cameras and other things in my bag and didn’t have my smartphone with me. I just walked by, but women might wander into the town without realizing it while sightseeing, so please be careful not to take photos . This time, the place I wanted to see in Tobita was Taiyo 100ban. I actually went there six years ago, and it’s a Ryotei restaurant with a former castle-like architecture. Built during the period, the building is designated as a nationally registered cultural property. The photo is from that time, but the interior is luxurious and has a sense of chaos, giving you a taste of old Japan and the castle . I had a hotpot in this private room. What are you talking about? I don’t know. I just had an iced cafe la. The atmosphere is amazing. Coffee Shop Ibuki has a very unique interior design that’s very interesting. And the owner has a very kind, gentle smile. It was a wonderful shop. Thank you. This sushi shop in the shopping district had a homey lineup. The variety and local atmosphere reminded me of Super Damoa in Yokohama Motomachi . I wasn’t able to try it this time, but I’d love to try their sushi and bento boxes . But there are other options around here, too. Oh, I went to the sink. Yeah. That girl always makes it here. Yeah. And on the last day, I went to a sushi shop . Yeah. Yeah. They were all just 2-3 servings of rice and bento. But , in Osaka, or rather, in the Shinsekai area, there are lots of bows and arrows, and archery, too. It really does feel like a festival. Coming this way, the festival atmosphere is suddenly incredible. We ‘ve entered a town with the flashy, beautiful scenery we imagine Osaka to be. It’s definitely more tourist-oriented than the retro, local feel of the shopping district we were in earlier. Wow, it’s amazing. This is Osaka. I’ll have some sweets here. Doremi’s menu is also super cute . The tables are like these stand-in seats, with these river-style chairs. They’re a reddish color. Look. See, this design is really cute. I’ve always wanted to go there. I’ve always wanted to go when I go to Osaka. This is Doremi, the coffee shop . I just ordered a Pudding Royal. The atmosphere of the shop is like this . The ceiling decoration is so beautiful. The facade is also silver. And the sunlight coming in through this window is so beautiful. Here it is. Pudding Royal and a bottled coffee. By the way, I don’t like bananas, so I asked them to leave them out. Normally, a banana would be in here. Let’s eat. First of all, yes. Yes. Beautiful. The pudding is soft. Delicious. The apples are also beautifully cut into decorative shapes. In Osaka, there’s almost no jiki (fried apple) harvest. I’ve been to Kyoto and Yoyogi, but I haven’t been able to go much, so I’m happy. After touring around a lot this time, I’m back in Nishinari for ice cream. The Airin district, commonly known as Kamagasaki, is a corner of Nishinari, Osaka, known for its dense cluster of member lodgings . During the period of rapid economic growth, this town attracted young workers from all over the country. However, after the collapse of the bubble economy, it began to face various problems, including unruly roads and illegal roads. Subsequent improvements have gradually transformed the atmosphere, and now it attracts an increasing number of foreign backpackers seeking budget accommodation and travelers seeking a more immersive experience. On New Year’s Day, the area saw the aging of workers, with approximately 40% of the residents being elderly . Nishinari is a unique town where roughness and humanity coexist. Afterward, we visited our destination, the semi-cafe American, and enjoyed three bowls of Igo. Photography was prohibited inside the restaurant, so I only have three photos, but now I realize I really ate a lot . After a day of walking, I refreshed myself by washing away the sweat at Club Onsen, the first restaurant . The relaxing atmosphere was irresistible. Finally, we had dinner at the popular restaurant Inakaya. While I wasn’t able to film the meat here, everything was delicious and I ate a ton. The boiled fish, in particular, had a sweet, homely flavor that was incredibly comforting and went down a treat with a beer. And so, with a final narration summarizing the trip to Osaka and Nishinari, our trip here comes to an end. Even more in-depth, unreleased videos are available for members. Be sure to take this opportunity to join. This concludes Osaka Nishinari V. The walk through each of the inner palaces has been streamed three times so please check it out .
