【大阪の穴場】錦秋の南大阪、山の中の蕎麦屋 / 古民家 / 本当は教えたくない癒しドライブ

Hello, this is Ikenoueno. I took a day trip in the fall, when bears seemed less of a concern. This time, I visited a temple and a soba restaurant in the mountains in Senshu, southern Osaka. I also visited a shrine recommended by a previous viewer. Ogami Shrine in Kishiwada City is one of the cultural components of Katsuragi Shugen, a Japanese Heritage site. This historic shrine is dedicated to bringing rain. Approaches open from three directions. At the back of the grounds is a waterfall called “Ame-furi” (rainfall). Don’t get too close. From Ogami Shrine, I drove about 10 minutes up the mountain to a soba restaurant nestled in the mountains. It’s in Aikawa-cho, Kishiwada City. It ‘s located in a quiet village. It opens at 11:30 AM. The soba restaurant is housed in an old house. Nearby is Anpuku-ji Temple, where the head priest also runs the soba restaurant. Sofuku-an is a soba restaurant nestled in the mountains. They also sell bread. I ordered a tempura set meal (1,700 yen). The tempura is freshly fried. There’s also sashimi, and the portions are huge. The yuzu flavor is strong. The soba itself may be a little lacking in flavor, but I was full and satisfied. There’s also a cafe nearby. The interior and scenery are calming. Although it’s in the same Osaka Prefecture, it feels like a short trip. A 10-minute drive from Sofuku-an is Koyo-ji Temple in southern Osaka. This mountain temple is known as Ushitakiyama, a scenic spot for viewing maple leaves. If you walk behind the temple grounds, you’ll find a waterfall. A roadside station 20 minutes by car from Daiitoku-ji Temple. Savor the flavors of autumn. A tranquil park. A buffet restaurant. A farm-fresh market. We also enjoyed some shopping at the end, making it a very fulfilling day trip. It looks like we’ll be able to enjoy autumn in Osaka for a little while longer.
