加藤谷川の上流にかかる滝で、約40mと約15.6mの2つの滝に分かれています。その落水するさまが白馬が長い尾を垂らしているように見えることから｢馬尾の滝」とも呼ばれています。「日が暮れるまで一日中眺めていても飽きることがない」というところから名づけられ、新緑、紅葉の時期に見事な景観を見せます。
This waterfall, located upstream on the Katō River, consists of two separate falls measuring approximately 40 meters and 15.6 meters. Its cascading waters resemble a white horse with a long tail, earning it the name “Horse Tail Falls.” It was named because “one could gaze at it all day until dusk without growing weary,” and it offers spectacular scenery during the seasons of fresh greenery and autumn foliage.
